Kia ora and welcome to Chaparral Sunset. Your hosts Lyn and Keith welcome you into their rural fully self-contained accommodation. Our cosy guest house has Sky TV, wireless internet, a guest BBQ and well equipped kitchen. Babies under 6 months are free. There is a charge of $20.00 a night for children older than 6 months, a free porta-cot (including mattress and bedding) is available on request. Service animals are welcome, we do appreciate guests letting us know. The space Experience a slice of rural kiwi living on the back door step of the Auckland region. Our secure, gated property in the heart of the rural district of Pukekohe is the perfect place to escape and unwind and there is ample parking for cars, bigger vehicles, trailers, horse floats and boats. Auckland CBD and the airport are a 50-60 minute drive and there is plenty to enjoy locally around the Pukekohe region, The fully equipped kitchen is complete with electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and includes all crockery and cooking utensils. A 'welcome' complimentary breakfast of bread, eggs, yoghurt, milk, tea, coffee, and cereal is provided on arrival. Please help yourself to herbs in the garden next to the main house if you are cooking. A 50 inch TV (with sky) is available in the living area and hair dryer, iron, and ironing board can be found in the bathroom and bedroom. Connected to the guest unit and just for your use is a wash house which contains washing machine, indoor drying rack, basin and second toilet. Please ask if you would like to use a dryer. The second bedroom is accessed externally along the concrete path outside the unit. This very large warm private space contains a super king bed, single bed and basin, there is plenty of room for a mattress on the floor for larger groups. We encourage guests to walk around the farm and enjoy the peaceful rural setting. Please close any gates behind you as you go. Guest access Guests are able to use all outdoor spaces around the area. Multiple vehicles can be parked outside the accommodation and undercover parking is available for one vehicle. If we are home, the unit will be unlocked and keys on the table in the dining area. If we are out the key will be in the meter box at the road end of the building. Other things to note We have a very friendly Chocolate Labrador called 'Rusty' who may come and meet you on arrival. Rusty is an outside dog and he will not go into the unit. He always looks hungry but please do not feed him chocolate or bones, they make him very sick. Smoking and vaping is permitted outside.
