Close to sea Skåneviksfjorden, and nice publicbeach/ bathing island (50 m) "Peparen". Kayak available for nice seatrip. Skånevik is a nice village also called "Sunnhordlands perle". Ideally situated, half way between Bergen and Stavanger, great base for many day tours; Etnefjellet, Rosendal, Trolltunga, Røldal, Langfoss, Preikstolen. And of course local trips. You can arrive Skånevik by boat, ferry, bus or car. It it almost 3 hours by boat from Bergen, or 1,5 hours from Haugesund airport Karmøy. There are bakery, grocery, hotel/restaurant and some other shops 50-100 m from the house.
