Welcome to my cosy holiday home in Hofsós, a lovely little fishing village in the stunning Skagafjörður region. The house is beautifully decorated and the views are absolutely amazing! You'll have a front-row seat to the fjord, the river mouth and the surrounding mountains. The region is known for its magical sunsets and vibrant summer activities like puffin tours, river rafting, kayaking, horseback riding, hiking, museums, an infinity pool, and tasty local food experiences. The space This warmly decorated home is designed to provide a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Each detail has been thoughtfully arranged to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. From the terrace and living room, you'll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views that set the scene for memorable holiday moments. THE UPPER FLOOR The main entrance. Living room: beautiful view over the river, ocean, and mountains. Dining table (can be enlarged to fit 8 people), sofa, TV. Entrance out to a balcony. Kitchen: Refrigerator with small freezer, dishwasher, stove, oven, coffee maker, toaster, and Water boiler. Bathroom: Toilet, shower, sink, hairdryer. NOTE! The bathroom is small. The shower size is 80 x 80 cm (31" x 31"). 1. bedroom: Double bed, size 160 x 200 cm (63" x 79"). A travel cot can be added to this room upon request. 2. bedroom: Single bed, size 100 x 200 cm (39" x 79"). THE LOWER FLOOR NOTE! The staircase between floors is narrow and steep. Be extra careful and mind your head and back. You can also enter the lower floor through an exterior entrance behind the house. 3. bedroom: Double bed, size 180 – 200 cm (71" x 79"). Note! You enter at the foot of the bed. 4. bedroom: Single bed or small double bed, size 130 x 200 cm (51" x 79"). Living room: Sofa bed, Single or small double bed, size 140 x 200 cm (55" x 76"). Bathroom: Toilet, sink, washing machine, dryer. A brief stroll away, a charming bridge allows you to cross the river securely and enjoy a leisurely walk down to the ocean. This house comes with a bit of history, complete with creaky floors and a soulful atmosphere. Tread lightly when moving between floors.
