The host carefully renovated a 130-year-old traditional house and revived it as a private rental inn. The beams and pillars that have been built over the years, the tatami bedrooms, the sunken hearth and the wood stove give the inn a quiet warmth and calm. From the window, you can see the Central Alps and the seasonal mountain village, and at night, the sky is full of stars. There is a Goemon bath that boils water with firewood outdoors, and you can experience it if you wish. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and condiments, and you can enjoy meals at the hearth. Seasonal vegetables and rice are grown in the fields, and you can also experience fresh ingredients during harvest. It is a place for adults to stay away from everyday life and feel comfortable even when doing nothing. Other things to note Through the fields behind the old private house, there is a vineyard, and beyond that is a 2-kilometer long Yaezakura tree-lined street. It is also illuminated at night during the cherry blossom season in mid-April every year. Further back, you can see the Tenryu River. Sakura-nbo-ki-dori is a walking course for locals, perfect for a stroll. There is a valley called Tenryu Gorge about 5 minutes away by car, and there is a promenade where you can walk while viewing the scenery of the valley. The nearest station is Tenryukyo Station, which is the entrance to Hida Line's Hidden Station. Tenryu-kyo is also a small hot area, and there is also a day-use hot spring.
