Welcome to Journey’s End Hideaway, your perfect escape nestled in the heart of Lusby, MD. Overlooking Tongue Cove in the Patuxent River, our hideaway is a quick 10-min journey by boat/land to Solomons Island. Our waterfront haven boasts a charm designed to help you unwind & soak in the tranquility. Sip a cocktail as the sun sets, viewed from the comfort of our pier or paddle out to the river in one of our kayaks. There is a variety of local restaurants & attractions. Your perfect getaway awaits! The space Imagine this: You've just retreated to your private Hideaway. It's a space all your own, where you can sink into the plush cushions of a sectional sofa and lose yourself in a Netflix marathon. When it's time to turn in, a queen-sized bed awaits, promising a night of restful sleep. Wake up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, ready to kick-start your day. A hot shower is just a few steps away, in your full bathroom. This Hideaway isn't just any space - it's a newly renovated basement efficiency. It boasts a separate entrance for your privacy, a living room for relaxation, a master bedroom for rest, and a kitchenette for your culinary adventures. If you're planning to stay with us for 4 nights or more, feel free to use the laundry facilities. We avoid doing our own laundry when we have guests over, just to make sure you have all the privacy you need. If there's ever a house emergency and we need to pop into the utility room, we'll make sure to let you know in advance. We're all about making your stay as comfortable as possible! Welcome to your Hideaway. It's time to unwind and enjoy. Guest access At our place, you'll have access to two kayaks, complete with paddles and life jackets. There's a private pier/dock, where you can sit back in comfy Adirondack chairs and soak in the view. And when the sun goes down, there's a fire pit to keep you warm and cozy. Fancy a bit of fishing? Feel free to bring your own bait and fishing pole. The pier is a great spot for catching perch, spot, and if you're lucky, even the occasional catfish (any other types of fish). And if you're bringing your boat, no worries at all. You can moor it right at the private dock. Enjoy your stay! Other things to note Both guests need to be at least 21 years of age at the time of booking- please inquire prior to booking for any other accommodations Just a little heads up - our family has some pretty serious allergies, so we can't have any furry friends around, no matter how cute they are.
