Behind the house lies a private deep garden with a refreshing plunge pool (3 x 2 m.). There are terraces for reading, enjoying private time and romantic evening dinners. The house is spacious, comfortable and carefully decorated; the use of colour, the earthy walls and organic fabrics create a relaxed atmosphere and uniqueness in each room. The space Villa 'Le Muse' is a stunning private Tuscan home with 5 large bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, which can be rented as a private villa with a capacity for up to 10 guests. The house has a Tuscan kitchen with a large wooden table, a cosy living room with fire place and a spacious dining room. It's located on the edge of a medieval village and is surrounded by green hills with olive trees and chestnut woods. There is plenty of space in and around the villa. Start your day with a good breakfast on the cosy rear terrace with fresh bread from the local village shop. There are 2 more terraces for reading or enjoying some private time. The deep garden stretches out behind the house up to the woods, on warm sunny days it's pleasant to cool down in the plunge pool or to sunbathe on the terrace there. The beautiful garden has a mediterranean vegetation (cypresses, lavender, roses) and its own vegetable- and herb garden from which you can pick whatever you need for cooking. LOCATION The house is located in the hilly region of Lunigiana, close to the Apuan Alps and at the same time not very far from the coast. This uncontaminated region is known for its natural beauty and its healthy, clean air and pleasant climate, which is a great pull for visitors who love being outdoors. The surroundings are varied, mountains, historic villages, local restaurants, the authentic coastline. In the village you'll find a little shop with fresh bread and local products for your everyday needs, there's also a butcher as well as a bar. In the neighborhood are several family driven restaurants and local (organic) producers of delicious Italian gastronomic products. Wine tastings and cooking classes are two recommended activities here. It's just a short drive to natural swimming places in the woods with crystal clear water. At the same time you're on only a 40-minute drive from the beautiful seaside (Poets Gulf, Sarzana, Lerici, Tellaro) and, just a little further north, Portovenere and the Cinque Terre. You can try water activities such as sailing, boat trips and canoe. Hiking, cycling and climbing is a treat in this varied region (the Lunigiana); the house is surrounded by national parks as the Apuan Alps and the Apennines. Pisa airport is a 1.10 hour's drive from the property. The owners are always ready to help with recommendations and bookings, making the whole experience smooth and relaxing. Children must be supervised by an adult when in the pool area. You will be required to sign a swimming pool use waiver on arrival. There is a large fenced area in the garden.
