The Tail Race....just 1 mile from Wheeler Dam

This is one of the original cabins that overlooked the tail race during construction of Wheeler Dam. It was later sold and moved to this location. The home is about 1 mile from the dam and it has a circle drive to covered parking and a 2 car pole barn. Conveniently located within minutes to many boat ramps on the Tennessee River. Within walking distance to restaurants and a few minute drive to food and gas. It has WiFi and dish and it has a well stocked kitchen. Great fishing, good neighbors. The space This is a great opportunity for boaters and fishermen alike to take advantage of what the Tennessee river has to offer. Whether it’s Wheeler, Wilson, or Pickwick Lake it is some of best fishing. If fishing isn’t your thing, the Amish community is about an hour away in Ethridge TN, where fruits and vegetables and hand made items are available. If you like shopping, the Tail Race is about 25 minutes from Florence. It’s also about 30 minutes from Athens. So whether you fish or not, this area has lots to offer.
