Spacious, charming and very centrally located accommodation. You live in cozy Kvarnberget where you can reach Karlstad's central parts with restaurants, cinema, outdoor venues and the train station in a few minutes walk. Mariebergsskogen, Karlstad's city park with lots of climbing frames, playgrounds, animals, private beach and sightseeing train (free entrance) and most swimming opportunities within a ten-minute walk. The accommodation is completely unique. An older Kvarnberg house dating back to the 18th century together with an octagonal house part. The space The accommodation is about 200 sqm and consists of the older Kvarnbergshuset with an older style of rooms and decor. There is a charming old-fashioned kitchen (but with the usual amenities such as dishwasher, microwave, etc.) and with a dining area with kitchen sofa and fireplace (not in use). In the old part, bedroom 1 is on the lower floor inside the kitchen with a double bed. The upper floor in this older part of the house has two small bedrooms, one with a single bed (120 cm) and one with a sofa bed with an extra mattress (low ceiling!). In the hall/entrance, there is one of the house's bathrooms. From the hall/entrance, you can also walk up a half staircase to the octagonal house part and the house's living room. There is plenty of room for a sofa group, an older dining group, exit to the patio and a wing. A beautiful staircase leads up to the upper floor. Upstairs, there is a sofa corner where you can read and look out over the park. There is also an exit to the balcony and a staircase up to the house's lantern/tower room overlooking Karlstad in all directions. There is bedroom 2 (one double bed, which can also be divided into two single beds, 90 cm) and bedroom 3 (two single beds, 120 cm) and the house's large bathroom, which also has a small sauna. In addition to the above-described sleeping places that are enough for eight adults, there is an extra bed in the tower room. There is also a bed for infants (folded travel bed) that can be set in one of the bedrooms, high chair and plate/mug/cutlery for a small child. Guest access Guests have access to all parts of the property, except the garage/storage room.
