Marriott's Oceanwatch - Great Amenities and Beach!

Gaze out over the resort's beautiful gardens from your furnished balcony. Soak up the Myrtle Beach sun by one of the multiple outdoor pools, indoor pool, or on the beach. The space Lushly landscaped resort, with plenty of activities to keep your entire group entertained. Enjoy access to 5 Outdoor Pools, an Indoor Pool, a Fitness Center, Hot Tubs, Bocce Ball, Shuffleboard, a Putting Green, Nature Trails, Fire Pits with seating, a seasonal Kid's Camp, On-site Dining, and of course, the Beach. Comfortable and spacious 2BR/2BA villas featuring an open Living and Dining area, with Queen sized Sleeper sofa, and large furnished Balcony. Enjoy your balcony while drinking your coffee in the morning or enjoying a beverage of choice in the evening. At the end of each day, gather the family together to enjoy your favorite movie or whip up a quick snack in your fully equipped Kitchen, with Stove, Oven, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave, Toaster, Blender, Coffee Maker, etc. Master Bedroom has a King size bed, and oversized Master Bath with large Garden Tub and large Walk-in Shower. The Second bedroom has 2 Queen beds with access to a second Bathroom with Shower and Tub. There is also a Washer / Dryer conveniently located inside your unit for your personal use. This unit is considered a GARDEN View villa. This means you will be assigned a villa in most likely the Maple or Pine building (see Property Map in photos). This is a beautiful section of the property with trees offering shade from the South Carolina sun, and great pool options within steps from your villa. Guest access This is a Resort property. So Guests will have their own private unit, but Resort Amenities (Pools, Hot tubs, Spa / Sauna, Gym, Firepit, Games, etc) will be shared with other guests. Other things to note - Primary Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this minimum age requirement for the primary Guest who will be checking in. Your security deposit will be returned to you after Check Out if you have not made any charges to your room. - Marriott's Oceanwatch is professionally managed and operated by Marriott Vacations. The Front Desk is staffed 24/7 for Check-In, Check-Out, and is available for any questions, issues, or need for assistance. They are there to help so please don’t hesitate to contact them during your stay. - This is a FLOATING unit type. What that means is that you are guaranteed an GARDEN side 2BR/2BA as depicted in the photos, but your unit location (specific Building assigned, Floor, etc) and specific balcony configuration will be determined at Check In. You may also call the Front Desk ahead of time about 7-10 days before Check-In and request a certain unit location. Although you can never be guaranteed a specific location the Front Desk will usually try to accommodate requests if they can. - Please note that depending on your Unit location, your view could be obstructed by trees or shrubs in and around the Garden Villa areas. Although this is actually a nice feature and provides some nice shade from the summer sun. The landscaping on property is beautifully maintained. - Two FREE parking passes are included with this unit. If you need an additional parking pass for an additional vehicle this would need to be arranged directly with the Front Desk for an additional fee. - Bedding linens, blankets, pillows are provided, as are bath towels. If you need additional items or want fresh bedding linens or towels during your stay, please contact the Front Desk. Although bedding linens, blankets, and pillows are provided, you may want to bring some of your own if you have a favorite pillow or blanket. - If you plan on using the Sleeper sofa during your stay, I do personally recommend (if possible) bringing sheets, blankets, pillows, maybe even a mattress pad for the Sleeper sofa specifically, which can be turned into a very comfortable extra bed. If not possible to bring these items you can request them from the Front Desk. - Pool towels are provided for free, and they can be exchanged for fresh ones on an unlimited basis. However, if you or your family owns and likes larger beach towels, I recommend bringing them, along with any other beach blankets / chairs / umbrellas / equipment you want at the beach. If you don’t bring your own beach chairs, umbrellas, equipment, etc you can rent them. - Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, shampoos, etc are all provided. If you need more during your stay you can contact the Front Desk and they can provide them. We have never personally had an issue receiving the supplies we needed. - There is no daily housekeeping provided. However, the Front Desk can provide a vacuum, or broom and dustpan, to use in your unit if you wanted it. Washers and Dryers are also available (at no additional charge) on alternating floors for guests to use if desired. If additional housekeeping is desired during your stay it is available for an additional fee scheduled directly with the Front Desk.
