Studio at the Spuikom, Ostend

This renovated studio is on the Spuikom, near the sea and numerous walking and sports opportunities. It is located in an upcoming neighborhood and originally a fishing district of Ostend. The location is the ideal base for a wonderful vacation in peace and quiet. The studio is equipped with all comforts: a bathroom, a cozy sitting area, spacious bedroom and a decent kitchen. The beach with dunes is within walking distance. The bustling center and stadium of Ostend is only 1 stop away. During your stay You will have the entire studio for your self. Quiet spaces on the ground floor, very calm and safe neighborhood. Very relaxing environment, this is also a less touristy area of Ostend. We live on the 1st floor and can be reached if there is a problem. We believe in the original values of Airbnb, and do everything ourselves. Our location is also convenient for visiting other cities such as Bruges (30 km), Ghent (67 km), Ypres (50 km) or other coastal cities. The Spuikom is an ideal spot on the coast for bird watchers. In addition to the usual water birds from inland, this place also attracts seabirds. Visitors can spot species such as the Common Shelduck, the Eared Grebe and the Spectacled Loon, but also the Middle Sawbill, the Eider and the Topper. There is always a chance of rare guests such as the Crested Grebe or the Long-tailed Duck. The breeding grounds on the edge are popular with the Lapwing, Redshank, Sandpiper and Little Egret. Maybe there's even a chance of a Kingfisher by the reeds. The Spuikom therefore offers a unique mix of inland and seabirds, with a chance of special sightings.
