This house, classified as furnished tourist accommodation ***, is ideally located between the two parks of Luberon and Verdon. This encourages you to walk around: lakes, rivers, golf, hills, vineyards, pretty villages, everything is within easy reach! Once back from your walk, enjoy the comfort of a recent, aesthetic, very open to the trees and sunny, spacious, very well-equipped house. In short, you will be as comfortable outside as you will be inside! The space AT A GLANCE: Contemporary living room, very bright, very open to the outside. Landscaped garden: +600 plants, +80 species Terraces: 3 in all! -1 in full sun, Nordic bath side -1 covered, cool, shade from trees - 1 in a belvedere on a white oak wood Lightweight garden furniture, easily transportable from one terrace to another (except barbecue) 'Pool' = 8-seat Nordic bath temperature adjustable in mid-seasons (see below) Sauna: infrared, 4 people (365/365 and 24/24) Barbecue / plancha: gas, cleaning by vacationers Furnished tourist accommodation: 3 stars, for 6 (report available on my website) Remains comfortable for 8 MY ACCOMMODATION IN DETAIL (more details including the use of the Nordic bath/sauna/barbecue): CONTEMPORARY HOUSE, VERY OPEN TO THE OUTSIDE. ************************************************************************************** It is designed to capture the sun and light in winter and heat easily. In summer, it avoids direct sunlight, offers a large covered terrace to the north, protected by trees, and is very easy to ventilate in cooler hours. The living room (living room-dining room-TV area-kitchen) extends over a very large wooden terrace around the house. Two large bay windows face each other and give the impression that you are outside. Each of the three bedrooms overlooks the living room, has a bay window giving access to an outdoor terrace, has a private shower room and storage. DESCRIPTION OF THE 3 BEDROOMS ************************************************************************************** Bedroom 1 has a 160 x 200 double bed, a bath/shower and sink, an infrared sauna, a walk-in closet. A large 2.40 m bay window faces the bed; it opens onto a covered terrace, overlooking the oak wood and the rising sun. It almost feels like waking up in the forest. Bedroom 2 has a double bed 160 x 200, a shower cabin and sink, a large closet. A 1.80 m bay window faces the bed; it opens onto a small sunny terrace and pretty flower beds. This is the sunniest room. Bedroom 3 has two 90 x 190 bunk beds, or 4 beds in total. A shower cabin and sink, a closet. A French window opens onto a small sunny terrace and pretty flower beds. It is an ideal room for children, although the quality of the mattresses also allows four adults to sleep there. A TERRACE THAT GOES AROUND THE HOUSE ************************************************************************************** 170 m2 of wooden terrace, all around the house: so you can move around according to the sun or the shade, depending on what you are looking for. In summer, you can have breakfast in the east, in the rising sun, contemplating the white oak wood. At lunch, we prefer the north terrace, covered and enjoying the shade of the trees, perfectly protected from the sun. In the evening, you can choose the south terrace, more open, to enjoy the twilight. All these terraces communicate immediately with the living room and the kitchen. The garden furniture, all aluminum and very light, moves easily. In season, a gas barbecue awaits your grilled food. POOL? JACUZZI? NORDIC BATH specifically ************************************************************************************** A large Nordic bath (the largest in the TimberIN range) serves as a mini-pool for young children. Children will be able to play safely (shallow depth, easily accessible edges; and when not in use, simply put the lid back on to provide maximum safety). In addition, 8 adults can find a place to cool off and chat for a long time over a drink. Warm? Hot? Adjust the temperature to your liking, thanks to the wood-burning stove (conditions of use detailed below, at the bottom of the page). A LANDSCAPED GARDEN ************************************************************************************** The garden was entirely designed by a Manosquine landscaper. As a counterpoint to the oaks and the wild part of the garden, she carefully chose more than 600 plants, in 80 different species, to offer flowerbeds with varied foliage and flowers all year round. And if the plantations are still recent, they are already promising! CONDITIONS OF USE OF: SAUNA, NORDIC BATH, BARBECUE ************************************************************************************** NORDIC BATH Airbnb did not provide the "Nordic bath" equipment; so I chose to check "jacuzzi" and "swimming pool" in the list of amenities, which seemed to me to give the closest information. Please note, however, that the house is NOT equipped with BOTH a Jacuzzi AND a heated pool. It is equipped with a Nordic bath, some features of which are like a Jacuzzi (being able to sit in it, the heat) and others like a wooden mini-pool (aesthetics, the possibility of cooling off in it, playing in it for young children). - Warm season (June-September): The bath is at room temperature over these 4 months, and essentially serves as a mini-pool to cool off. You can choose to correct the temperature a little with the wood-burning stove. - Mid-season (May and October): You can change the temperature with the wood stove, but it will take a little time. - Cold season (November to April): It must be protected from frost, so emptied, in the winter season. These dates are indicative and non-contractual, and of course depend on weather conditions. Thank you for your understanding. Even more so than for a swimming pool, users are asked to wash before bath, in order to preserve the quality of the water. For weekly rentals or longer, the tenant is asked to carry out routine maintenance (chlorine tablets every 2/3 days, use of the mini-vacuum cleaner, and to call me quickly if the water becomes cloudy). During the summer, the delay of a few hours between two rentals does not allow me to guarantee the perfect clarity of the water. It depends on the care taken by the previous tenant and the climatic hazards (stormy rains in particular). On the other hand, I make every effort (continuous filtration, use of the right products) so that you can enjoy impeccable water as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding. INFRARED SAUNA The sauna is available year-round, 24/7. However, I assume it is not used during the summer. I ask tenants who would still use it during this period (after all, why not?!) to let me know, so I can clean it for the next ones. Users are asked to wash before the sauna, and to always cover the benches with a dedicated towel, available on site. Thank you in advance. BARBECUE I provide a gas barbecue/griddle. But its cleaning is not part of the cleaning package (not enough time between two rentals). If you use it, it's up to you to clean it to leave it clean for the next vacationers. Likewise, I cannot guarantee that there is gas in the bottle: it depends on previous vacationers. If the bottle is empty, it is your responsibility to exchange it in the store for a full one (I will refund you the cost of the refill). Thank you for your understanding. 3-STAR FURNISHED ACCOMMODATION ************************************************************************************** This home received a "3-star" rating for 6 people. (Ranking report available on my website or upon request.) However, it can accommodate 8 people with a little less comfort! (See description of the 3 bedrooms above.) Guest access FLEXIBLE CHECK-IN AND CHECKOUT TIMES ************************************************************************************** Access to the accommodation, check-in or checkout times can be very flexible if you rent in low or mid-season for a weekend. They are less so in high season. Please let me know to refine this together. Other things to note RESPECT THE NEIGHBOURHOOD ************************************************************************************** The house you want to rent is in a particularly quiet subdivision: all residents are really careful not to disturb their neighbors with noise.
