It’s centrally located in the heart of the historical Evanston neighborhood, only a 5 minute walk to Xavier University, and a 5 minute drive to a few coffee houses and restaurants. 10 minute drive to Paul Brown Stadium-downtown Cincinnati, 7 minute drive to Rookwood Plaza-Hyde Park, 8 minute drive to Oakley, University of Cincinnati, and a 25-30 minute drive from CVG-easy access to 71. **PLEASE NOTE: ALL GUESTS must upload their ID's. The space 2 bedroom, 1 bath-Dutch Colonial Revival home built in 1915. Completely renovated, and fully equipped for your stay. The Area: The historical Evanston area is an urban 'up and coming' neighborhood with a diverse demographic. There is a mix of older homes alongside renovated spaces, which creates a uniqueness to the area. While some parts of our neighborhood are still undergoing revitalization, there are some hidden gems such as the Historical O'Bryonville Business District, King Records Studio Building (permanently closed) which was added to The National Registry of Historical Places, Doris Day’s childhood home, and Walnut Woods of Evanston Park. House Layout: There are 5 steps on the front porch leading up to the front door entrance. Our home has a main and upper level offering a cozy inviting space for a family of 4! There's also a lower level basement with a fully equipped laundry room. As you step onto our front porch, there's a relaxing sitting area designed to offer comfort after a long day of Cincy sightseeing! Upon entering, you'll be on the main level, and you'll see our dining room which includes a nice size table that easily sits 4, a cocktail bar, and a chest full of family games! Our living room features a 55” Smart TV, all new living room furniture, super soft blankets, a retractable coffee table, and areas to charge your laptops and smartphones. Our kitchen has all new Frigidaire kitchen appliances, a Hamilton Beach Coffee Brew Station with complimentary coffee and snacks, and all new pots/pans and utensils. From our kitchen, there's access to the lower level basement which includes a laundry room with a new washer and dryer, laundry rack, laundry detergent, and fabric softener. We also have a screened back porch directly off of the kitchen, perfect for relaxing while drinking your morning coffee! There are two flights of stairs with standard residential dimensions and spacing, not- steep to get to the upper level. On our upper level there are two bedrooms with queen size beds, black out shades, and super soft comforters/quilts. The larger bedroom(1) has a designated work space with a custom built retractable desk perfect for business travel. We also have Smart TV's in each bedroom, high speed WIFI, and charging stations for your smartphones. Both rooms have large closets with a hamper, luggage racks, shoe racks, and extra blankets and pillows. An iron and ironing board is located in the closet of bedroom(1.) Our bathroom located on the upper level is super cozy with a modern finish! We provide Egyptian cotton plush towels, and a starter toiletry pack. **As a beautifully restored 100+ year-old home, our property retains much of its original character. You may notice the occasional creak or sound, a door that sticks from time to time, and water pressure that can be lower than in newer homes. While we’ve thoughtfully updated the space, these elements are part of the home’s historic charm and story. **Our fireplace is inoperable for guest use. **Early check-in and late check-out may be accommodated, based on availability. Early arrivals and late check outs must be arranged and confirmed ahead of time. Our home is NOT child proofed. We have live plants, easily accessible cabinets with cleaning supplies, hardwood floors, and two flights of hardwood floor steps leading to the upper level.** **Important Accessibility Information: Guests with limited mobility should consider this before booking: Please note that our home is not wheelchair accessible, doorways are too narrow. There are 3 steps from the sidewalk leading to the walkway to the bottom of our porch with 5 more steps leading up to our front porch. Once inside, there are two flights of stairs to the upper level, and our bathroom does not have grab bars in the tub/shower. **There are Bath and Body Works products, umbrellas, iPhone and Android cell phone chargers, and portable mini speakers provided for your convenience throughout your stay. *A fee will be added to your stay, if any of these items are removed.**
