The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms, large sitting room, dining area and kitchen. The apartment is part of a refurbished Georgian house, serving extensive grounds overlooking the Smerwick Harbour and Beal Ban Beach.Its a ground floor apartment at the front of house with access to outside dining area and B\Q. It's very quite and a relaxed atmosphere,traditional in its interior decoration and quirky. A sauna is located in the courtyard, available to all guests free of charge! The space My home was originally a rectory,it was then given to the newly formed Irish police during British occupation and used as a (website hidden) was burned down during The War of Independence ,and bought by the family Granville.I' m third generation. Its now being restored as apartments,used by visitors from all over the world as a restful stop that has been voted by National Geographic Traveller as one of tne top ten most beautiful places,(The Dingle Penninsula,)in the world. The house is situated on the Slea Head Drive ,part of the Wild Atlantic Way. It overlooks Smerwick Harbour,nestling in its own grounds ,secluded by trees but still only 400 mtrs. from the village of Ballyferriter. In the village you have 4 pubs,all serving food,and some nights great Irish music.There is a museum and a centre for teaching the Irish language.A walk to the beach after dinner always goes down well. Guest access Gardens,use of Barbeque ,my home is your home for the duration of stay.There is an spanking new playground accross the road at end of avenue.,also exercise machines outdoors adults. Other things to note Music in local pubs in village most nights during summer season,Small local theatre in Dingle town and great cinema ,film club every Tuesday night.Get hold of Free West Kerry Live Magasine for everything that happens on the penninsula or read it online.
