The apartment is located on the 5th floor, it has a view to the back of the Unirii Square, so you will have a peaceful stay. A restaurant is located on the ground floor of the building. One of our most well known inhabitants was the former dictator Nicolae Ceausescu, who used room 27 from our property as a hiding place during the year of 1940, until the momens of his arrest in July 1940, by commisar Gusa. We was spotted and caught at the moment of leaving the building and jailed for 3 years. Nicolae Ceausescu and his girlfrend at that time, Elena, who later became his wife, spent some quality time in this art deco style building. During the urbanistic redesign of the Unirii Sqare, the building was saved from being demolished and some say that the famous couple and some old time memories played a determinant role...
