It is inviting and tastefully decorated with new furnishings from Room and Board and West Elm. The owner of this home uses it as her own accommodation when she stays in Bend. ** This is a shoes-off home. Recommend bringing slippers for indoors and flip flops for the deck so you can enjoy clean floors throughout your stay ** The finishes are a higher grade than a typical rental, and it is expected that the home will be treated with a high degree of care by each of its occupants. The primary bedroom (king bed) is on the second floor with large east facing windows and a view of an outcrop of rock. The loft office area has southern and western windows, a large desk space, and a chair and 1/2 which pull out to a twin bed The main floor features a kitchen with an induction stove and a very quiet dishwasher. The living room has a stylish yet comfortable couch and chair and a fireplace to relax and unwind. There is a private outdoor space off of the living room with a gas grill and chairs to take in the surroundings. The outdoor space is designed to feel natural, like you are at a great campsite, while everything else in the house and the neighborhood feels like anything but camping. Guest access The guest house and the land immediately around it are yours to enjoy. Please keep the shared driveway clear of parked cars so there is easy access to both garages (for the main house and the guest house) at all times.
