School building

Welcome to a former schoolhouse on the border between Bohuslän and Dalsland. The house, which was built in 1934, was a schoolhouse for over 30 years and today it is a spacious vacation home for up to 6 people. The old school hall is today a magnificent living room with a fantastic space and lovely windows. Welcome to a fantastic and unique place to stay! The space On the lower floor, you will find a well-equipped kitchen with both a coffee maker, toaster, microwave and an espresso machine. On the same floor, there is also a guest toilet and the old school hall, which is now a living room. There you will find one of two TVs in the house. This is connected to the broadband and has a selection of TV channels. Upstairs, you will find two bedrooms, the larger bathroom and a TV room/guest room. In the TV room there is another TV but it is not connected to the TV channels, but here you can only stream from your own phones. In the larger bedroom there is a double bed and a dresser, in the smaller bedroom there are two single beds and a dresser. In the TV room/guest room there is a sofa bed that can be made into a double bed. In the garden, there is a dining area with a larger dining table, two sofas and two armchairs. There are also two sun beds with a small table. Other things to note The house is strategically located just a couple of kilometers from Kynnefjäll Nature Reserve. The nature reserve is also a magnificent outdoor area regardless of the season and is suitable for activities such as hiking, canoeing, fishing, mushroom and berry picking. From Kasebo, which is about 10 minutes by car from the house, a number of hiking trails extend over Kynnefjäll and a couple of them connect to Bohusleden. The house is also very strategically located for excursions throughout Dalsland and Bohuslän. It is only 30 km to Norway where, among other things, Halden is a very nice excursion destination. It is also only about 50 km to the sea and the beautiful Bohuslän coast. There you will find, among other things, the coastal community of Fjällbacka, known from Camilla Läckberg's detective series. From Uddevalla, you can take the archipelago boat and go on day trips along the entire Bohuslän Archipelago. Dalsland is about 30 km from the house and offers many wonderful excursions with both fantastic scenery, swimming lakes, flea markets and castles.
