Renovated studio apartment with private entrance in the basement of our 1900's home. Situated on a large lot with beautiful gardens. Full sized windows provide ample light & the fireplace is cozy in winter. 10 min to downtown Minneapolis, 25 min to the airport, 1 mile to Theadore Wirth Park, & on a bus line that goes directly downtown. Great location to visit the Twin Cities. Hosts live above & have an infant, you may hear her occasionally but bedroom is upstairs so shouldn't hear her at night. The space - 800sq ft basement studio apartment with a private entrance. There is a locked door that separates it from the rest of the house. - The kitchenette is equipped with mini fridge/freezer, microwave, 2 electric burners, toaster, crock pot, kitchen utensils, basic condiments, coffee/tea, light breakfast (typically granola bars, oatmeal, fruit, etc). - Full size bed has a traditional inner spring mattress. Sofa has a trundle that pulls out to make a full size bed. Plus a queen sized air mattress. - Private bathroom. - Washer & dryer. - No parties. Guest access - Guests may use the yard, patio, fire pit, and deck. In the summer we have a vegetable/herb garden which guests are welcome to enjoy! - There is a pack and play, high chair and a few children's toys. - The workshop in the basement is locked.
