Green House
Green House
Description
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Across the street from Rondout Creek and next to the Widow Jane Mines, this house has a wonderful history surrounding it in relation to Rosendale's cement mining industry: it used to be where the cement workers lived! With kilns in the driveway and just up the road from Rosendale's charming main street, this house is rejuvenating and modern, while still holding the deep history of being built in 1800. The space Myself and my toddler are downstairs with the common area and kitchen with a beautiful porch across from the sounds of Rondout reek, and then there are two bedrooms upstairs with two bathrooms and one small common room. Guest access There is one main entrance and doors on the porch both on the main floor. During your stay I can definitely recommend some good walks, hikes, and things to do in the area: there’s something for everyone. Or, just stay on the property for a some nice walking or access to the Widow Jane mine grounds next door. Other things to note There are some kids toys around.
