The Little Bakery annexe, Agios Martinos.

The 'Little Bakery annexe' is located down a small lane in the traditional Corfiot village of Agios Martinos. Just 3km from the beach and bustling town of Acharavi with it's many shops, cafes and tavernas. The Little Bakery annexe has been recently renovated and comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests in two spacious bedrooms. It is the perfect place to escape, rest and relax in a traditional and tranquil village setting but is still within easy reach of the local beaches and amenities. The space The 'Little Bakery annexe' is a charming self contained holiday home. Recently refurbished and fully equipped to be your perfect home from home here on the beautiful island of Corfu. The annexe sleeps up to 4 guests in two bedrooms. One bedroom with a King-size bed and one bedroom with two single beds which can be converted into a Super king. The annexe is perfect for small families, couples or groups of friends. The accommodation is all on one level accessed up two steps. Step in through double doors into the light and airy open plan kitchen - living room with a high ceiling, painted beams and a Mediterranean style open fireplace. Off the open plan kitchen-living room there are two spacious bedrooms and one bathroom with a large walk in drench shower, double washbasins, marble countertop and wc. The first bedroom has a comfortable King size bed, ample storage and remote controlled air conditioning. The second bedroom has two single beds which can also be converted into a Super king bed. Again, there is lots of storage and remote controlled air conditioning. The living room has seating for four and a smart TV with complimentary Netflix. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need for your stay. There is a fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and electric oven with induction hob. Outside the annexe is a secluded private seating area, 2 additional sun-loungers and alfresco dining table + chairs. There is an outdoor charcoal barbecue for guest use. The 'Little Bakery annexe' is next door to the 'Old Bakery villa' which was historically the main bakery for the village of Agios Martinos. Outside the annexe, a beautiful stone staircase leads up to the shared roof top terrace with stunning sea and mountain views, the roof terrace has a crystal turquoise water lap pool, four comfortable Ratan sun loungers, shade parasol and relaxed shaded sofa seating area. The roof terrace is shared with the Old Bakery villa and is available exclusively guest use between 9am and 9pm daily. The Little Bakery annexe is tucked away at the bottom of a gated driveway and surrounded by gorgeous olive trees. There is ample parking for two cars outside the annexe. Please note: The property is not suitable for children under 4 years. Corfu Airport is approximately 50 minutes away by car. There are taxis directly outside the airport. There is also a public bus service. We advise hiring a car for easy and to fully discover all the island has to offer. Guest access The area outside the annexe is for guest use and has a barbecue, alfresco dining and seating area, as well as two sun loungers. There is a private parking area outside the annexe which can accommodate two cars. The shared roof terrace and swimming pool is exclusively for Little Bakery Annexe guest use between the hours of 9am and 9pm. Outside of these hours the terrace and pool are closed for cleaning. Please note: Guests are required to close the gates to the property when entering/leaving. Guests are not permitted inside the adjoining villa (The Old Bakery villa) or in the lower gated garden to the right of the driveway. Other things to note Please lock the double entrance gates onto the drive way when entering and leaving the property. Our two dogs (Heidi & Woody) are both kept on their leads when guests are here but they do love to escape if they can. We also have a few cats that live in the main villa who you may see during your holiday. Please take care when driving along the driveway one of our cats is blind and she needs a little extra time to move out of the way of cars. Being in a traditional village setting like lots of local villages there is a quiet time for siesta which is between 2pm-4pm, guests are kindly asked to respect quiet time during this period and keep the noise down.
