(Exclusive use for guests) With 20m2, it is sheltered from the winds and has easy access from the first floor hall. It is ideal for reading, listening to music or just relaxing. No parties or gatherings allowed We have neighbors, so noise on the terraces must be limited after midnight, with no music allowed. Friday and Saturday until 2:00. No pets allowed. Smoke-free house indoors. Smoking is allowed in all outdoor areas, patios, terraces and garden. It is forbidden to carry out any sports activity or game with balls except in the areas specially determined for this purpose. Front terrace. Sports and boxing yard. Guests may request the removal of any picture ornaments or any other type of decoration they wish. Temporarily or permanently. During your stay. If the Maison is available (in case you do not have another check-in at the same time) there is no problem in checking in hours before. We will not be able to confirm the schedule until the date is near; if the maison is not available before check-in time, you can leave your luggage at our offices located in Caballito The same goes for check-out, if there is no other guest arriving there would be no problem in leaving the Maison a couple of hours after 11am. If this is not the case, our offices are available until 6pm to leave your luggage. If your check-in is before 7am or after 9pm, there is a surcharge of 30USD. Subject to availability. - Visitors: up to 4 people can be invited to the Maison, and the use of the building's common facilities for guests is prohibited. Except in the case of gastronomic uses or coordinated parties. - Additional charges: The maintenance of the property and its furniture is the responsibility of the guest, who is also responsible for all visitors entering the Maison. Any loss or breakage will be charged at the market value on the day of check-out. This includes broken stained glass, ornaments, paintings, or any other element of the Maison. History of Maison Desplats/Deplà The residence is the work of the prestigious Franco-Argentine architect Gustavo Desplats and his son Gustavo Desplats. The incredible decorated wooden staircase is the result of the work of Saturnino Desplats, son of Miguel Desplats, the first master stairmaker in Argentina and winner of the silver medal at the Universal Exhibition in Paris (1889) for his staircase design. All the fittings are by José Desplats. Inventor of the Desplats banner system. The house was built as the residence of José Armando Desplats and his wife Raquel Desplats de Desplats. Respectively, the children of José and Gustavo, the nephews of Saturnino and the grandchildren of Miguel. The host is a direct descendant of the original owners of the house and the lotus for more than 150 years.
