You can check yourself in using the electronic door code. We’ll send you the access code before your arrival. You’ll have complete privacy during your stay, but we’re available 7 days a week. You'll be on the Newport Bayside steps from the docks, where you can rent water equipment for a day out on the water. Enjoy this prime location between Newport & Balboa Beaches, 1/2 mile to Balboa Pier, and 1.8 miles to the Newport Pier. If you walk from Pier-to-Pier, it’s 2 miles one way and a lovely beachside walk. You could also ferry to one of the nearby islands like Balboa or Lido and enjoy strolling the cute streets for a day. You’re also just 10 miles from the John Wayne Airport. The best means of transportation would be to rent a car or you can hire private transport (Towncar) or a rideshare service like Super Shuttle to and from the airport, of course, there are curb-ride services like Uber and Lyft as well as taxis. It’s a 2-story duplex home. Guests will need to climb stairs to reach the upper levels and the 3rd-floor deck area. We provide some complimentary essentials like soap, shampoo, and some toilet paper in the bathrooms, but please note that these items are not replenished. When you run out, you’ll need to purchase more. There’s no daily housekeeping service, but if you’d like the place cleaned during your stay, that service can be arranged for an extra fee. The home is equipped with a noise monitoring system (not a recording device, it just measures decibels of volume). When the noise level gets too high, it notifies us. The BBQ grill at the property is available to use with a propane tank included. Just need to pay a grill-cleaning fee. Please note that the owner's yacht is moored out front, but it is not accessible to guests. There is a boat rental option available. Please let us know in advance if you are interested. A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in, subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met. Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation. WE KINDLY ASK ALL GUESTS TO ABIDE BY THESE HOUSE RULES: - Travelers must be at least 25 years of age or older to book. - No smoking of any kind is allowed on the premises. Smoking tobacco, cannabis, or the use of any recreational drugs in the house is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty. - No parties or events are permitted. Excessive noise is not tolerated, especially after 10 pm, to respect the neighbors. The home is equipped with noise sensors that will notify us if the volume at the home exceeds the acceptable level. - No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed. - Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if such is needed after their stay. - Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during their stay. - NO PETS allowed.
