A large terraced townhouse located less than a 10 min walk to Margate main sands, old town and Dreamland. If you are looking for a luxury getaway with friends or family - this place is excellent for hosting and access to all of Margate's amenities. The space The house has been lovingly and extensively restored back to its former glory by its owners across 2022. The décor combines the original Georgian features with a twist of contemporary and a nod to Margate's creative heart. The main floor has a brand new kitchen with island and breakfast bar which is open plan with the Dining room. The kitchen is well equipped, including an electric oven, smaller microwave combi oven, induction hob, dishwasher and a good range of cooking utensils, crockery, glassware, a Nespresso coffee machine and a cafetiere. A WC is conveniently located on the ground floor and the garden is also accessed from the ground floor. The first floor includes two good sized double bedrooms - one with garden view and one with street view and a sea glimpse - both include hanging rails and clothes storage. Additionally there is a dedicated office space with second screen and wired ethernet, a separate shower room and a full bathroom. The lower ground floor comprises the master suite - with large en suite bathroom with walk in shower with overhead roof light and a copper freestanding bath in the original brick clad food store. The spacious living room is also on the lower ground floor - the living room includes two large 3 seater sofas and a 2 seater sofa bed which can be folded down to accommodate a 7th person. The Living room also includes a log burner for the winter months. The large patioed garden provides a larger outside space than most central Margate properties and it is a real sun trap - getting sun throughout the day. There is sufficient outside seating for all guests with a 4 piece patio set plus a bench. The garden is low maintenance but has plants and a raised bed - please feel free to give the plants a water if you stay Parking outside is permit only. A few streets away there is free off street parking and we can recommend paid parking near by. Alternatively a guest permit can be arranged for a maximum of one car per booking. Guest access The whole property and garden (excluding the garage) will be exclusively accessible by guests. Other things to note We are pet friendly - but please only well behaved dogs and strictly no pets on furniture or beds. Sofa Bed - we have a sofa bed in the living-room however linens for it will need to be requested ahead of the arrival and an extra laundry charge will apply.
