Restored and luxurious 1880s stone-home set in middle of walkable private 50-acre vineyard in the Finger Lakes, 5 minutes from Keuka Lake, bordering the Finger Lake Trail, with an active trout stream running right down the middle. Perfect for a family gathering, wine and brewery lovers, hikers/cyclists and boaters visiting the Finger Lakes. If you are bringing a boat, we can suggest a nearby convenient marina with reasonable daily rates. The space All bedrooms upstairs. Primary bedroom has a King bed, plus an en suite bath. Remaining 3 bedrooms have Queen size beds. Two rollaway cots and pack and play crib available too. Both full baths have heated floors, fluffy towels, and toiletries. Central AC downstairs; each bedroom upstairs has dedicated new AC unit. Heat throughout the home. Guest access Entire house Other things to note This renovated 1880s stone home set on our 50-acre vineyard offers a glimpse into the rich history of the beautiful Finger Lakes region. As you step inside, you'll be transported back in time with original features, like the stone exterior, mounted dinner bell next to the barn, or the stunning stained multi-colored antique glass windows that cast a beautiful light throughout the home. You'll enjoy waking to views of the sprawling vineyard from every bedroom, enjoying bird watching with a coffee on the covered and fan-equipped patio, surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills. Take a stroll through the whole property and enjoy the peacefulness of the trout stream or the beauty of the gardens. Relax with our full modern amenities, such as heated bathroom floors. This region is best known for the beautiful Keuka Lake located only a few miles away, with reasonable day rates for marina slip rental. The entire Finger Lake region is home for vineyards, wineries, craft breweries, and of course water sports on the lake in the warmer months and gorgeous fall leaves in the autumn. The area attracts boaters, fishermen, cyclists and hikers. The town of Hammondsport, <5m away, was awarded “Coolest Small Town in America”. The Curtiss Museum is <5 minutes away as well, and you can take a quick trip to Corning to see the Corning Glass Museum. We love our home and host our own friends and family there. Because of this, we take special care of it and expect our guests to also do so. We ask that all food be kept and consumed downstairs and all linens be treated respectfully. If you are bringing children, please clean up after them as you would in your own home. Our cleaning fee covers standard linen changes, vacuuming, and kitchen cleaning. If this is not how you like to vacation, then unfortunately this is not the home for you. Let us know how we can best accommodate you and we hope to host you in this special property soon!
