Relax with the whole family at our peaceful cabin nestled in the pines. Just 3 miles from the town of Idyllwild you will feel instantly removed from the hustle and bustle and ready to unwind. Plenty of space for the whole family including your pup. This dog and kid friendly tree house will not disappoint (no cats please). The space When you arrive to our mountain tree house get away you will be greeted by a long flat driveway. Easy access to the house and plenty of room for up to 4 cars. Steps up to our front porch and massive deck, plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the forest surrounding you. Sit back and just listen to the birds and wind blowing through the pines. This is a tri-level house. Master bedroom with comfortable king bed with attached master bath are on the entry level, up 5 stairs to the main floor. Large living space with huge leather sectional and club chairs to relax in front of the gas fireplace or watch a movie. Sky lights and large windows surround you bringing the forest right into the room. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need for your getaway including keurig and full coffee pot, spices and all kitchen needs. Dining table that seats 6 and bonus game space with large live edge table to accommodate seating of 6 more. Perfect area to play a board game or just sit and relax and enjoy the view. We also have a Pac-Man arcade game system in the game/sun room. Main floor opens to expansive deck space. With plenty of seats to relax. On lowest level are three more bedrooms and a large bathroom with shower, soaking tub, and laundry space. Queen bedroom offers a work space and French doors leading to lower deck with macrame swings for 4 and corn hole and access to the forest. 3rd bedroom has a bunk bed with full bed on lower and twin on top. 4th bedroom has king sized bed and access door to outside as well. This home is kid and dog friendly. No cats please, we have a severe allergy to cat dander. Guest access Guests will have access to entire house except for garage and locked owner’s closet in master bedroom. Other things to note Please note. The host cannot be held responsible for any power outages, utility interruptions, or water service disruptions that may occur, whether they are planned or unplanned. These disruptions could be caused by factors outside the host's control, such as SCE outages, propane delivery issues, or unforeseen circumstances. During winter months (December -April) Please check CalTrans website for road conditions before driving up or down the hill. Chains can be required at any time, even if you have 4WD and snow tires. Please use a proper turnout if you need to put chains on while coming up the highway. Drive slowly in the snow or in icy conditions and use the turnout to let faster cars pass, if necessary. There is a shovel and sled located on the lower deck. No sledding is allowed on our property, however just up and around the corner, just a short walk from the house, are wonderful sledding trails. You can find a map of sledding locations in the house guide. Our street is a plowed road maintained by the county and is typically plowed regularly after snow begins. We are not responsible for any stuck vehicles, falls/slips or snow related accidents. Please use caution when driving, hiking and playing in the snow!
