Desert Canyon Overlook

Enjoy spectacular views of orchards and vineyards surrounded by soaring desert ramparts with a rustic country feel in the heart of Palisade fruit and wine country with easy access to Palisade (1.5 miles) at the same time. Local activities include the adventurous- mountain biking (Palisade plunge, Fruita), dirt biking /atv trails, Powderhorn Mountain resort, raft/kayak/paddle boarding the Colorado River, to the more sedate- hiking, wine tasting, shopping, restaurants and more. The space This is a spacious, single level, family friendly, 2 bedroom, 1 bath, basement suite which is locked off from the main house with its own private entrance and separate parking. There is a patio to relax and hang out on which opens on a large yard for guests with chickens and views of orchards and vineyards. One bedroom has queen bed the other a full bed. The bathroom has a walk in shower. The suite includes a living area, dining area and a coffee bar with microwave, minifridge, and water boiler. These are the only kitchen amenities, there is no stove or kitchen sink. Other things to note We don't use any pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers on our property to attract bees and butterflies. You might see us gathering eggs or feeding the chickens on occasion. We live upstairs in the house with children who can be noisy at times. The guest area is locked off from the rest of the house but the laundry room is only accessible through the guest suite. If we need to use it we will give notification and try to be as unobtrusive as possible.
