It is a very convenient, family-friendly beach, with a sandy and shallow shoreline for children to play safely as well as a life-guard on duty. Located on the southern side of the island, Platis Gialos is connected by boat with other southern beaches -such as Paraga, Paradise, Super Paradise, Agrari and Elia- and can be reached by regular bus service from Mykonos town.
