House at the head of the harbour

For the next few months, for the summer of 2017, I am hosting family here. Starting mid-August I will consider accepting bookings for 2 nights or longer. I am of course willing to negotiate a price for longer stays. Breakfast is not included, but coffee and tea are always on for guests. The space This is a classic Lunenburg house from the beginning of the last century, built for the family that owned the foundry which still operates here. The old town is a UNESCO World Architectural Heritage site and it is easy to explore on foot from my place, which is at the head of the harbour. It is also easy to walk here from a mooring in the harbour. The Fisheries Museum can be reached by a footpath and the golf club is a 15-minute walk along the other side of the harbour. There are several lovely beaches within 20 minutes drive. Bicycling is great in the area and since there is not much traffic, inexperienced cyclists can feel safe. There is a kayak here which can be rolled down to a launch across the street. The bedroom is at the back of the house with its own bathroom. I can accommodate a couple and arrangements can be made for a child or third party as well. There is wireless internet for guests.
