This tiny house is located on a rustic hobby farm in Tasmania's Central Highlands, surrounded by abundant forestry, farmlands, and a serene country lifestyle that allows vacationers to unwind and relax. This tiny house sits on one of the highest points of the property, offering stunning views to the north. To the south, there’s a small dam and natural bushland. It’s part of Tasmania’s peaceful holiday homes—ideal for those seeking a farm stay experience in nature. A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower. IMPORTANT NOTE: We’re a working farm, so you may hear machinery and farm noise. For safety, signs will be on the paddock gate when work is in progress. Guest access ADVISORY: Campfires are not allowed right now due to dry, windy weather. We’ll update if this changes. Guests can access the tiny home, the top 2 paddocks (via the main gate), and the bushland area. However, access to the main homestead and working paddocks is restricted. Preorders available with 24 hours’ notice: - Breakfast options like bacon and eggs (when available), mini dampers, cereals, or Turkish rolls with jams and spreads. Please call or message to arrange. Other things to note - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - No smoking inside the tiny home; only in designated areas - Do not enter closed gates/paddocks as work may be carried out - Keep an eye out for your surroundings and follow the safety instructions - Telstra and Optus have good signals, and Vodafone is weak. Others are weak. - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge - We have working dogs, ducks, chooks, geese, a small herd of sheep, and abundant wildlife onsite - You may be able to gather eggs for breakfast or join the evening feed and round-up (depending on seasonality). Guesty Advisory - Access around the site is limited. If gates are locked there is work being carried out within that paddock so please do not enter. Important note: - BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban - For any maintaineance or repairs, please report to the hosts immediately - Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property - Please follow the safety directions given and always keep an eye out for your surroundings - For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
