The space Guest can experience luxury camping in the immaculately clean, weatherproof van. It is long wheelbase and mid-roof so has plenty of room inside. We highly recommend taking the Camp Light with Phone Charger for $20 extra. The van has a queen sized bed with a real mattress (no gaps between seat cushions like other vans), quality linen, beach and bath towels are both provided. There is room under the bed for surfboards, camping gear and travel bags. Additional parking is also available if you are arriving by car. The camping grounds provide excellent amenities such as toilets and showers, camp kitchen's and laundries and WiFi. Byron Shire council only allow camping at designated camping grounds so we will arrange a campsite for you. Alternatively we can deliver the van to private addresses in Byron if you are staying with friends or at a wedding for example. The campsite fees vary between Parks and seasons, So it is not included in the fees for the van. We will find out the pricing for you and let you know the options. Update - until end of Jan 2025: Campsites are available at Discovery Park for $48 per night. This a beautiful park with great facilities a short walk from town. We recommend First Sun Holiday Park. It is right on the beachfront and right in town. So if you are looking for absolute beachfront on a budget you can't beat this location. Their fees are generally around $99 per night. Glen Villa is also a great park. It is in town and 5 minutes walk to the beach. Their fees are generally around $70 per night. Belongil Fields is a large park and almost always have sites available. They are $30 per night - per person. They have very basic facilities. Please message me and I can confirm the exact rates and availability for the dates you are looking for. If you would like to drive the van please book through Byron Adventure Vans. If you want to change to a driving booking after booking through Airbnb we will not be able to transfer Airbnb's charges to your driving booking. Note this vehicle is automatic and has two seatbelts.
