Plus the condo is situated close to the famous sights and attractions in La Paz, grocery, convenient stores, shopping and more! Look no further, this will be the perfect place to stay and to make great new memories in La Paz! The main spaces of the condo: - A stylish and roomy open living area has plenty of comfy sofa seating and lots of natural light. Open up the floor-to-ceiling glass doors for a great sea breeze and indoor/outdoor connection. - You’ll have the wall-mounted flatscreen television with Sky TV satellite service. Perfect for relaxing downtime moments at home between sightseeing. - The kitchen is fully-equipped to whip up any meal to enjoy at home, there’s even an oven and the important extras like a coffee maker for those morning cups of coffee to kickstart your day! - The dining area adjacent to the kitchen features a nice table to seat 4 comfortably for enjoying meals at home, which is great if watching your budget! - 2 lovely bedrooms, both with a views, arranged as such in the third-floor condo: BEDROOM 1: 1 Queen bed, TV, en-suite bathroom w/ stand-in shower & combined walk-in closet. BEDROOM 2: 1 Queen bed, TV, shared bathroom w/common area & also with a nice-sized closet. - A refreshing private balcony as you step out of the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. It’s a fantastic place to sip your morning coffee and breathe in the fresh air & spectacular views! - Wi-Fi and laptop-friendly workspace for longer stays or the remote worker. - Washer/dryer, iron/ironing board & hairdryer in the home for convenience. - 1 free designated parking space in front of the property. You’ll have full, exclusive access to the condo during your stay. And of course, you can enjoy the complex amenities like the large shared terrace with a BBQ grill, the gym and swimming pool. This is a self-check-in property. First, note, the residential area is guard gated. You’ll need to drive to the visitor’s gate on the right to get checked in by the guard and then continue on to the condo building. All the access information and codes if needed will be sent to you within 24 hours of your arrival. You’ll have complete privacy during your stay, but we’re available 7 days a week, should you need anything - just write us a message here where you booked your reservation. Located in the gated residential community called Residencial de Cortés, the Alttus Palmira condominium complex gives you access to activities and amenities along with a peaceful and comfortable stay with spectacular views from the elevated area. - The condo complex features a nice large swimming pool with sun loungers to enjoy a day relaxing poolside. - A fitness center at the complex – free to guests. - A large common terrace with sofa lounge areas, outdoor tables and spectacular views - catch the sunset from there! HERE ARE THE TOP ACTIVITIES AND ATTRACTIONS IN THE LA PAZ AREA: - Kayaking or SUP Paddleboarding on the Sea of Cortez or La Paz Bay - Sea Lions at Los Islotes at Espiritu Santo Island - Whale watching tours or just go sailing or boating on the water - Swim with Whale Sharks (when in season Oct 1 to April 30) - Go to the Beach! Best beaches: Balandra Beach, Playa el Tesoro, Pichilingue Beach and Ensenada Grande - Go off-Roading at nearby desert terrain - Sandboarding the sand dunes at El Mogote - Stroll along the Malecón (waterfront promenade)/explore the marina - See the Cathedral of La Paz (Catedral de Nuestra Señora de La Paz), - Go to a museum. There’s a Whale Museum and a Mining History Museum - CATCH A LA PAZ SUNSET SHOPPING: - La Paz Centro you’ll find Artisan markets and Street Art - Plaza Paseo La Paz - Shops along the Malecón - Galerias La Paz GROCERIES: - Walmart (about 6 miles | 10 km from condo) - Chedraui (3.6 miles | 5.8 km from condo) POPULAR RESTAURANTS: Vrentino Oliva al Mare Harker Board CO. Nearby Golf: Paraiso del Mar Golf, El Cortes & El Cortez Gary Player Signature Golf Club The condo is about 10 miles | 16 km or about a 25-30 min drive to/from the Airport (LAP) and a it’s a 2.5 hour drive or 123 miles | 198 km to/from San Jose del Cabo International Airport (SJD). IMPORTANT TO NOTE: During the summer months, the area experiences water shortages where at times you can be without water for 4-5 hours. Recycled water is an easy alternative to help us, and the environment, with the shortage of water resources. We ask that you please use water consciously, turning it off when it's absolutely not needed and recycle your shower water for times when needed to flush the toilet. (Simply place the bucket under the running shower while you wait for the water to warm up and use it later, if needed, to flush the bathroom). Our local team can provide you with assistance if you have questions. Wi-Fi, 3 TVs with Sky TV satellite service, bed linens, washer/dryer, beach & bath towels, and some essentials are provided free for guests during your stay. You may also use the pool and barbecue grill in the common areas as well. Please follow all pool rules at the complex. All guests must wear swimwear. Entry to the pool area is permitted only when wearing suitable swimwear. We provide some basic essentials complimentary upon arrival (note: these are not replenished): drinking water, a roll of paper towels, a set of napkins, a sponge, liquid soap & trash bags. And in each bathroom, you’ll find a roll of toilet paper, some liquid hand soap, a bar of soap for the shower, shampoo, and beach and bath towels. Please keep in mind that any damaged or lost items such as towels, sheets, blankets, broken armchairs, furniture or wall stains will be charged at the time of check out. Electricity is not included for long-term stays of 15 nights or more. There’s a $56 USD weekly electricity fee, in this case, charged on the day of check-in. A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met. Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation. We do not supply any food or cooking condiments. All food items are removed after each guest checks out. Therefore there will be no supply of condiments like cooking oil, salt & pepper, sugar, coffee, etc. prior to check-in. If you plan to cook at home, you can easily pick these items up at a nearby supermarket. HOUSE RULES: - Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book. - No smoking of any kind is allowed on the premises. Smoking tobacco, cannabis or the use of any recreational drugs in the house is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty. - No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors. - No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed. - Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if such is needed after their stay. - Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during your stay. - Please avoid moving furniture. - Pets are not allowed. - Please avoid hanging any towels, bathing suits or clothing on the balcony/terrace railings. - Please do not leave food out on the kitchen countertop and remove garbage promptly to the bins located outside in the designated area. - In the event the guest defaults to comply the HOA bylaws that regulate this property there's a penalty of $2,000.00 MXN to charge per person will apply in addition to those charged by the community. The guest can be subject to immediate eviction and forfeiture of any rent previously paid as well as the entire security deposit. - Condo keys, parking gate remote, access cards, and the A.C. remote control must be returned. Failure to do so will incur a penalty of $400 MXN per item deducted from the security deposit. - While on the property described herein, THE GUEST, his family, guest, or visitors are expressly prohibited from engaging in any activities that are considered illegal under Mexican law. This specifically includes any evidence of illegal drug use or possession. Should THE PROPERTY MANAGER or his representative find evidence of any illegal activities, THE GUEST will be subject to immediate eviction and forfeiture of any rent previously paid as well as the entire security deposit. Parties agrees that The PROPERTY MANAGER and staff should be held harmless of any legal responsibility of acts caused by default in this clause. - After check out, the property should be left in an acceptable and generally clean condition. Should the property or its furniture and/or linens require additional or specialized cleaning or replacement, the amount will be deductible from the security deposit. - There is a penalty of $20.00 USD for unauthorized late check-out. - Please remove all trash and dispose of it in secured, tied bags. Check for any personal belongings. Place all used towels on the bathroom floor. When you are ready to leave, turn off all the lights, fans and AC. If you have a key or card please leave it back where you found it. You can leave the property unlocked if you found it that way but please close the door behind you. Failure to comply with this will incur on a $20 USD penalty fee.
