A quiet rural retreat in the picturesque village of East Hoathly. Yet only a few minutes walk to the local pub & village. A stunning 2 bed, 2 bath self catering holiday cottage, recently renovated to a very high standard. It's modern, light & airy with a private, enclosed patio garden. Due to Covid 19 travel uncertainty you can book with confidence. You will be able to cancel up to 5 days before you travel to get a full accommodation refund. The space Hesmonds Oast Lodge is situated at one end of the owners' iconic Oast House, parts of which date back to the late 18th century. The Lodge is tucked away - private and totally self contained with its own entrance & plenty of parking. It has a modern, luxurious yet comfy interior. The accommodation has a lovely sunny open plan kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen is modern, well equipped and fitted with high quality appliances. The lounge looks out through fully glazed french doors which open out to its very own large patio garden. Perfect for entertaining, the garden gets the afternoon and evening sun, with stunning sunsets as the lodge is west facing. You can have a BBQ and enjoy sundown. Upstairs the master bedroom has a king size bed and en suite shower room. The twin room has two full size single beds and an en suite bathroom with a shower over bath. Both bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space to hang clothes or tuck away suitcases. All in all a fantastic base from which to explore all Sussex has to offer. There are a few different levels and steps in the cottage, so may be a struggle for guests with mobility issues. Guest access Whole self contained cottage. Other things to note Many great walks and cycling routes can be accessed near by. The Wealden Way, the South Downs Way and the Cuckoo trail are just some of the great ones to explore. If you intend to bring a dog, you must inform us before your stay. We would welcome a maximum of two well behaved , toilet trained dogs for an additional £30 extra cleaning charge per stay. The garden is securely fenced. All we ask is that your dog stay off the soft furnishing & remain downstairs, that you pick up any dog mess from the garden and make sure your dog isn't left unattended for long periods of time.
