Sellwood Luxury Studio Home
Description
Detached studio stand-alone home (17ft x 20ft), built by us in 2008. It has a king bed with kid gear if needed. It also has a full bath and a full kitchen (convection microwave oven instead of a conventional oven). Queen air mattress also available for extra guests. Location is fantastic! The space My husband and I (along with the help of generous friends) built this unit in 2008 when I was pregnant with my first son. We added the kitchen mid-2014. The unit is extremely well insulated and has radiant floor heating under the tiled floor. There are a lot of great details...including the hardwood trimed windows and the vertical grain douglas fir double entry door. King bed and optional pack-n-play and high chair. Also have a queen air mattress. The unit has accommodated a family of 5 before. Full bath contains a tiled shower with overhead rain and traditional handheld shower heads. Bathroom sink is an inset copper sink. No tub in the shower. Kitchen contains Keurig coffee maker with coffee. Kitchen also has a full fridge, induction stove top for cooking, convection microwave, eat-in island and is stocked with supplies for cooking and some basics. Room also has a large flat HDTV screen with cable, wireless internet and a Blu-Ray DVD player with Netflix access. Also has a ROKU for access to your Netflix (or other app) subscription. The unit is in our backyard where my husband's green thumb shows during the right time of year. Lots of windows with blinds for privacy. Erin, and her family, are our co-hosts and now live in the main house on the property. Location is great...walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, bike shop, trails, etc... Guests will have access to our backyard. There is a gate to our backyard with a walkway directly to the unit. Our interaction with guests vary and it really depends on the guests. We are happy to share Portland tips and our favorite spots. Erin and her family spend a bit of time on the back porch in the summer time. Erin has a dog in the main home, but he is not allowed inside of the studio home, due to allergy concerns. Our neighborhood is a fantastic walking neighborhood. You can walk to restaurants, starbucks, grocery stores, etc... It is really unique to Portland and it gives you a great sense of what Portland has to offer. It is also very close to other Portland attractions by either bus or a car. Registration Details 15-121015-000-00-HO
