Just Search: "The 20 best Airbnbs in the Catskills for a picture book retreat" Our house is laid out on two floors, with the main kitchen and dining area upstairs and the secondary downstairs. Immerse yourself in natures beauty with a brand new patio, dedicated firepit, and a 6-person hot tub in the backyard. UPSTAIRS: Kitchen: Fully-stocked modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and gas stove has a large butcher block island with two barstools for a first-hand view of the chef at work. The coffee bar is sure to impress coffee and tea enthusiasts with its top notch espresso machine and tea options. Lastly, a long farm table with seating for up to 10 people is sure to be the center of memories made. Living Space: A large seating area around a gas fireplace in the living space on the main floor with two large picture windows looking out toward the forest. There is also a Samsung Frame TV hung over the fireplace. Primary Bedroom: At the end of the hallway is the master bedroom featuring a king-sized bed with wood-paneled walls and an en-suite fully renovated bathroom with a walk-in shower.2nd/3rd Bedrooms: The other two bedrooms on the main floor include one with a queen bed and another with bunk beds and single bed - this room also has a number of activities (toys/books/play kitchen/teepee) for Children. Both rooms share a fully renovated bathroom with a tub/shower. LOWER LEVEL: Living Room & Library: The lower level includes a self-sufficient living space with a dedicated reading area/library and a massive sectional couch that faces a 75" TV and sound system. Dining & Kitchenette: There is also a dining area with seating for up to ten is that is set next to a kitchenette with all the accoutrements for preparing a meal or brewing coffee without heading upstairs.4th/5th Bedrooms: On this lower level, there are an additional two bedrooms, both queen-sized. They share a fully renovated bathroom with a walk-in waterfall shower. DECK AND OUTDOOR SPACES: Off the upper floor, a large deck with a wonderful long wood dining table, a pair of chaise lounges, and a gas BBQ grill, all overlooking the back yard and out toward the woods, has all the makings of a super summertime hang. At the ground level we have a brand-new luxury hot tub for 6 people, dedicated fire pit area, and additional BBQ, perfect to enjoy during the colder months. THE NEIGHBORHOOD: There’s a huge amount to do right on your doorstep, with Kingston and all its lovely shops and eateries just 10 minutes away. The buzzing arts and music scene in Woodstock is also under 15 minutes away. And the stunningly scenic Ashokan Reservoir with its amazing rail trail is also only 12 minutes’ drive. When it comes to location, you couldn’t be in a more central place to explore the best of the Hudson Valley and Catskills. KID FRIENDLY ACTIVITIES: Besides the kids room in the house, we are also very close to Forsyth Nature Center with 24 animal exhibits and a dozen gardens that contain a variety of native flora local flora and fauna, Clover Brooke Farm where you can see Alpacas, Goats and other animals, the Kiwanis Ice Arena for ice skating, skiing in Hunter, Burger Hill for sledding, Kelder's Farm, among many other activities in the area. Guest access All areas of the house can be accessed except for those doors which have numeric locks - please do not try to access those doors as they are strictly for the cleaning crew and hosts.
