An extensive remodel of this home was completed in September 2020, just prior to the owner’s purchasing. Near the famed 17 Mile Drive, this lovely 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath home features both a living room and family room, streaming-ready HDTVs in each bedroom, and large windows and sliding doors that let in plenty of natural light. The 2,400-square-foot house is just a few blocks from the ocean, hence the name “Pebble Beach Barking Seals,” a sound that can be heard in the distance as happy marine mammals play at the ocean’s edge. Pebble Beach sights like Seal Rock and Bird Rock are just a 5- to 10-minute walk away, and shopping, fine dining and world-class golf courses are a few minutes' away by car. It’s also only a 10-minute drive to monarch butterfly sightings in Pacific Grove, or to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Other attractions within a half hour’s drive are the natural wonders of Big Sur and wine tasting and dining in Carmel Valley Village. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted with complimentary cheese and wine or sparkling cider, wine tasting passes and a basket of local information. An assigned concierge vacation house manager is available to assist you during your stay. We have also provided spa amenities in the bathrooms and spa robes are available upon advanced request. Guests enter through a private courtyard to the front doors, which open into the living room. Minimalist modern décor with an ocean theme reflects the local environment, and comfortable leather furniture surrounds the gas fireplace and 75-inch HDTV with cable package and Sonos sound bar. A sliding glass door opens into the back yard. The living room blends into the dining room, which has a glass-top table and seating for 8, beneath a stunning ocean artwork. In the nearby kitchen, there is additional counter seating for 2 and a high round table that seats 4, perfect for games. The kitchen also offers stainless steel appliances, including a six-burner gas range, quartz countertops and a kitchen island with a second sink. A laundry room off the kitchen features a new washer and dryer and a half-bath is accessible both from the laundry room and the living room. The adjacent family room includes a sofa that converts to a queen sleeper as well as a 55-inch HDTV with cable package, DVD player and Sonos sound bar. The back yard is accessible through a sliding glass door from the family room, where an outdoor dining table, large outdoor rocking chairs and a gourmet gas grill make this a perfect spot for gathering with family and friends for afternoon barbecues or a glass of wine in the evenings. Four bedrooms are in a wing off the living room, with the master bedroom offering a king bed with an artisan wooden headboard. The en suite bath features a shower big enough for two with a large showerhead, a marble vanity with dual sinks, and a walk-in closet. Down the hallway are two bedrooms with queen beds and one with a king bed, all with bright striped bedspreads, and each of the four bedrooms has an HDTV that can stream Netflix, Amazon Prime or other apps. The king bedroom also offers a desk with task lamp, a monitor, and a sliding glass door that offers access to the front courtyard. The garage can hold one large vehicle or two smaller cars.
