Ocean Song Cottage is a island style designed artistic cottage, with hard woods, natural stone, walliba shingle, granite, marble, and antique bricks, tiles and hand cut stone. There is a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Antique and custom designed furnishings and prints, King Size bed, a selection of books and window seat. Outdoor shower with natural stone. A built in seating and lounging area with private garden. There is also high speed internet and Cable TV. The cottage sits upon the hillside next door to our main Ocean Song Villa (VRBO 379977). Let prevailing winds and ceiling fan will cool you as the waves lull you to sleep. Our charming cottage is next door to our 3 bedroom Ocean Song Villa. Cottage guests are not allowed access to the main Villa/pool. We ask that our guests respect each others privacy. Both Cottage and Villa have private entrances, gardens and car park. Our guests have the use of a private and spacious beach front lounge a few minutes walk away at the Turtle Beach Cottage. (daily 10 am - 5 pm) Villa and cottage guests along with the guests of the top floor apartment at Turtle Beach Cottage will enjoy the exclusive use of the spacious beach front lounge with honour bar, beach chairs, snorkelling equipment, fishing rods, boogie boards, outdoor shower, washroom and full kitchen facilities perfect for whipping up a meal beachside. The best accessible coral reef on island for snorkelling is right outfront of the beach lounge. This is also one of the best bays on island for Kite Surfing. We are usually on St Kitts from the end of October until early June. We are always available by phone and email. When we are off-island we have a wonderful property manager to assist with our guests. Turtle Beach is a quiet residential neighbourhood which has approximately 22 Villas. We are 5 minutes away, by car, to the ferry to Nevis and some great beaches. 5 - 15 minutes drive to a variety of excellent restaurants. It is a 4 minute walk to Turtle Beach on a quiet road. Turtle Beach is a very peaceful and natural setting. This beach is not machine-groomed and we do experience sargasso seaweed from time to time. We hand rake the beach in front of our beach lounge. We love the fact that our beach is quiet and we do not get large crowds of cruise ship visitors. Most of the time you'll have the beach to yourselves. We do recommend renting a car while staying at Turtle Beach. There is no public transportation is this area of the island. 4 minute walk to Turtle Beach. It's a 20 minute walk to Cockleshell Beach from our cottage. 25 minutes drive into Basseterre and the airport. 15 minute drive to Frigate Bay. It’s a 25 minute drive from the airport/BASSETERRE to Turtle Beach and you’ll be so happy there you won’t want to have to drive back the next day for supplies. If you are not too tired after your flight, it’s a good idea to make a stop for some groceries.   The water is safe to drink from the taps but some people like to buy bottle water. There are 4 great restaurants within 5 minutes drive. From the car park there are approximately 25 stone steps up to the cottage without hand rails. See the photo we've added for the full description.
