WELCOME to our slice of heaven on the peaceful shores of Scotch Cove. The Lower Deck is where ocean views, outdoor adventure, and laid-back comfort come together to create a year-round seaside retreat. Whether you're seeking a quiet escape from the city, a cozy spot to admire the changing leaves in the hammock, or an adventure-filled getaway, we’d love to host you. Make the most of your stay with our paddle boards, 2 kayaks, and 5 bikes, and experience the beauty of the coast at your own pace. The space Located on the lower level of our seaside home overlooking the beautiful Scotch Cove, this oasis offers two sea-view bedrooms with Queen beds and an open-plan, ocean-view living space with an additional single day bed - perfect for relaxing and reconnecting. The property is equipped with WIFI, a TV and all the necessary amenities that you may need for a comfortable stay. Thoughtfully equipped for all seasons, the property offers everything you need for both active days and cosy evenings. Guest access In the summer, adventure is right on your doorstep. Guests can enjoy our private wharf, offering easy access into the sea for swimming or paddling. With 4 paddleboards and 2 kayaks available for, you can enjoy most of the secluded cove and explore nearby Graves Island from the water. We are a short walk from a variety of hiking and biking trails, including Graves Island Provincial Park and the scenic Rum Runners Trail. Five (5) adult bikes are also provided so guests can enjoy a relaxed cycle into the nearby coastal village of Chester or explore further afield. Please note that our water toys are only available from June to October 31st. Outside of this time, they are stored for the season. Thanks for your understanding. On cooler days, the home transforms into a cosy retreat. Unwind on the sheltered deck, sway gently in the hammock, and gather around the warmth of the firepit. Inside, a selection of board games ensures there’s always something to entertain family and friends. For the more adventurous, you can enjoy the ocean for a cold-water dip with a warm bath and hot chocolate waiting for you inside your home away from home. In the winter, enjoy nearby trails, local cross-country ski spots, indoor ice skating and a visit to the award-winning nordic spa. Other things to note This property is equally suited as a peaceful haven to escape and enjoy everything on site, or as a base to explore Nova Scotia’s stunning South Shore. The nearby village of Chester is only 5 minutes away, which has a variety of restaurants, cafes and shops for all to enjoy and all the essential amenities including a supermarket, pharmacy and brewery! Iconic destinations like Lunenburg, Mahone Bay and Peggy's Cove are all within an hour’s drive, offering rich culture, history, and breathtaking coastal scenery.
