Serenity by Stonehenge

On the edge of the Salisbury Plains, 8 miles from Stonehenge. Marlborough, Devizes and Salisbury are all 25 mins drive away, along with Savernake Forest, the North Wessex Downs AONB, Avebury and Langford Lakes. It is an 1870s end of terrace cottage with plenty of character and is in the process of modernisation. The space My cottage is slowly being updated, mostly through my own work and it's character is becoming evident. The green lounge is meant to be a warm hug in the evenings after a long day and I hope you enjoy the vibrant and eclectic bathroom, it still makes me smile. One of the many gems of no.100 is the long garden which you can wander around trying to identify the wild flowers popping up in the spring and summer Guest access You have access to all spaces except for my bedroom, loft and garage. Please make yourself at home. Please note, the paved access way behind the house must always be kept clear of cars so my neighbours can get in and out. 4 properties have access. However, you can park in front of my red brick garage. During your stay There are many weekends and times when I am away from the house and, therefore, you will have the whole property to yourself with privacy if you book then. For these times, I do charge more as you can enjoy the house to yourself, as you see from the calendar of availability. Other things to note The access way at the back of the property is used by 4 properties, so please keep this clear and only park in front of the red brick garage with brown door. I work from home most of the time and will be around in the day. Please note, the bathroom is downstairs and only has a shower. My house, although gorgeous (to me at least!) is still a work in progress in terms of being brought up to date. Please do not expect a completely finished house. it's come on in leaps and bounds and I've done most of the work myself! I'm away at the end of August so if you book then, it is slightly more expensive but you'll have complete privacy.
