Susitna River Lodge is located in the historic village of Talkeetna, Alaska, on the east bank of the Susitna River. Each of our newer Backwoods Cabins have a private full bathroom, dining area, living room and offers two private bedrooms. The cabin kitchenettes have a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, electric skillet, hot plate, crock pot, coffee maker and electric tea kettle. They are also furnished with dishes and cutlery. Each cabin sitting and dining area offers plenty of room for you and your guests. Our Backwoods Cabins can each accommodate 5 adults with one queen bed in each of the two bedrooms and sofa sleeper in the living room. These Alaska Cabins also have picnic tables with outdoor grills if you want to cook up your catch of the day. Feel free to wonder around the property! There is plenty of grass in the summer (and a few yard games) and snow in the winter. The lobby is accessible to you 24/7 along with a large screen TV, many games, books and puzzles located therein. Also, there you will find a fresh pot of coffee in the morning, tea and hot chocolate, too. Help yourself! Just outside the lodge to it's left, is a small cabin titled the THOP (Talkeetna House of Prayer) it also is accessible 24/7.
