Beautiful view and a cozy bedroom near Smokey Mountains, Pigeon Forge, Pigeon River, and Knoxville. At your disposal is a private bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, and back porch. You also have walking access to a boat dock! The space This is a listing for a Lakefront/Lake-Mountain View Single Bedroom in a Stucco with Giant Log Accent private home located on a point on Douglas Lake. The bedroom is located on the lower level of the home with a full bathroom. The bedroom is adjacent to a large common area living space with TV/SAT/DVD/Playstation 3 available. A common studio kitchen is also adjoining the living area. Off of the bedroom and living area is a patio facing the White Mountains, Smokey Mountains, and the lake. The patio sits 100 feet above the lake on a slope down to a bluff. The bedroom and living area are newly carpeted, bathroom and kitchen are tiled. Guest can set their individual temperature settings as the bottom floor has its own HVAC and air infiltration system. We are also health/fitness aficionado's and can offer in-house certified personal training tailored to all ages and abilities at $40.00/ hr in the house with our own gym and, when available, certified yoga instruction. Please note lake levels are dependent on TVA control, rainfall, and the season. Levels fluctuate based on the time of year you're there. Generally speaking, we're at or near full pool from late April to early September and you can expect breathtaking views. Outside the season the water levels are dropped and their's more lakebed exposed. IN A NUTSHELL: the bedroom is very comfortable, the living area is very livable, and there's tons of fun all around. We hosts the room simply because we love to share what East Tenn has to offer. We won't come downstairs and disturb you, but if we're around you're welcome to come up and learn all we can offer on local knowledge and adventures. We are parents of 4 children and grandparents to 4 grandchildren. Both are professionals and one is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. Wes is a graduate of Virginia Tech and runs his own businesses in real estate and construction and helps us with Airbnb. Guest access You'll have access to your bedroom, bathroom, and the basement common areas of the living room and kitchen. Additionally you'll have access from your bedroom and living room to the back porch with spectacular views of the mountains and lake. Great for a hot cup of coffee and a good book on the weekend. The rooms do offer mother-in-law entry so you can come and go as you please without having to come through the main area of the house where we're at.
