The space The condo is in a historic typical Chicago-style apartment building built in 1918, and accessed by stairs. There are 42 steps from the ground floor entrance to the condo entrance. The condo is on the top floor and typically very quiet and a peaceful retreat from the bustling city life. Guest access Please note, there is no on-site parking available. Parking in the city can be tricky and is not guaranteed. There may be some free street parking available nearby on the west side of Sheridan Road, but please be sure to read all posted signs before parking anywhere on the street to avoid being ticketed or towed. The street directly in front of the building is parking by permit-only overnight from 6pm to 6am, permits are not available for guests. The gated parking lot next door is privately-owned and not available for guests. To guarantee a parking spot, you can use a parking app like SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find and book parking spots ahead of time around the city. There is a private secure parking garage located one block away at 954/960 W Wilson Ave which usually has parking spots available to reserve on SpotHero or ParkWhiz. Other things to note Early Check-Ins and Late Check-Outs are difficult to accommodate. If you need additional time, please consider booking an extra day. Local guests are permitted to book on an exception basis only. Local groups looking to use the property for a party, gathering or other group event are expressly prohibited and your reservation may be canceled. Any guest booking this property must be staying at the property for the full duration of the reservation and is responsible for the actions of all people in the group. Bookings made on behalf of others are allowed for some unique circumstances so please inquire if you are planning to book for someone else but do not intend to stay yourself. Please note: * To abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you may be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of your stay, provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, pass through our verification portal and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check.
