Recharge your batteries in this unique and cozy cabin. Here you will find inherited tablecloths, older furniture, paintings and pictures of my ancestors that create a cozy and personal atmosphere. This is a place that should feel like a home, with small renovations in progress and personal items in drawers and cabinets. Enjoy the tranquility, discover exciting details and let the days go by at your own pace. The space The cabin is located in a quiet area with fantastic views of the ocean and nature, which are best enjoyed from the new veranda. Here you can experience a bustling bird life, a trip to the lighthouse in all kinds of weather, or swim and relax on the rocks. After today's adventures you can barbecue and enjoy the sunset, while the children have a playground and ball courts nearby. For the active ones there is also a gym in the Grendahuset, available for a small fee and by appointment. We are constantly working on small renovation projects, so some details may differ slightly from the pictures – but always for the better. Guest access You have the entire cabin at your disposal, with the exception of one bedroom on the 2nd floor (straight ahead when you come up the stairs). This room is private and kept locked. In the basement you will find a washing machine, freezer, extra outdoor furniture and a fire pan. You are welcome to use the freezer, but note that we have some private items there, as well as in a cabinet in the hallway. In the kitchen you can freely use what is in drawers and cabinets. If you want to use the fire pan, you must bring your own wood or charcoal – the wood in the basement is for private use. Other things to note To plan your trip, we recommend checking the route tables on ATB. There is both a ferry (about 3.5 km from the house) and a speedboat (5 minutes walk). In the summer and on weekends there may be a queue for cars on the ferry, so many choose to park on Dyrøy and take a speedboat – especially if you have a lot of luggage. Smoking indoors is not allowed. For coffee we have both Nespresso machine and coffee press (but not regular coffee maker).
