Besides St Francis church and school it served as a small boarding house before being used as the local post office .Now a beautifully restored four bedroom home with beautiful Gothic windows throughout, cosy fireplace. A newly renovated luxury bathroom in the main. Outdoor fire pit and BBQ area to enjoy. Beds can be two Queen size, a King size and either two king king singles or a king. There are three comfortable lounges and a dining table to seat up to 12 people. Cosy, tranquil and inviting space to enjoy. Fruit trees and a veggie garden as well as private access to a historic graveyard, full of history and stories. Small- Medium size dogs are permitted at The Convent by prior arrangement. Pooper scooper provided and you will need to clean up after your pet. They are permitted inside on timber flooring and provided doggy bed.A bed and kennel are provided outdoors. Please don’t allow them on the carpeted area or furniture as not all guests appreciate traces of our furry friends. There is a vegetable garden and fruit trees that guests are welcome to use. Cereals, bread, condiments etc are provided. Please note the church and school house on the adjoining property are private residence so please respect that there is strictly no access though you are welcome to explore the graveyard as it is now part of the property and provides an interesting opportunity to explore.
