Creekside Cabin: snowmobile access!

Enjoy everything Rangeley has to offer in our peaceful creek-side four bedroom camp. Recently updated kitchen and bath! Situated on a private, wooded lot on a dead end street, your family will enjoy watching wildlife from the lofted windows and snowmobiling around the property and down to the lake. Unplug, or plug-IN when needed -fast Wi-Fi, HD Smart TV (with Netflix/Hulu/local news) and Sonos audio throughout the house. * Family Friendly * Leave the pack & play at home, we've got you covered. The space This 4 bedroom home has it all, including an open concept first floor and stunning kitchen that was updated in 2024. Floor to ceiling windows look out onto the backyard, busy with wildlife including deer, flying squirrels, Bald Eagles, Canadian Jays and more. For winter stays: Eric grooms the snowmobile trails on the weekends and he may be in the basement apartment during your stay. This apartment has a separate entrance and driveway. At night, your guests will enjoy gathering around the fire pit, where they can admire the pitch black sky and brilliant stars. Our camp offers four generous bedrooms and one full bathroom: Bedroom 1: Queen bed with rustic pine furniture Bedroom 2: Twin bed with closet Bedroom 3: Full/twin bunk beds with closet Bedroom 4: King bed in the large loft area with workstation/office nook with hdmi monitor. The two-car-wide turn around driveway gives space for plenty of vehicles or even a truck pulling a boat or snowmobile trailer. A wrap around deck allows entry into the camp without any steps making your move in as easy as possible. Deeded lake access is just a half mile down the road. Sit on a sandy beach and swim in the clear water of Rangeley Lake. Or ride your snowmobiles right down to the lake in the winter. Unfamiliar with the trail system or want to give snowmobiling a try? Complimentary gear includes: a jogging stroller, pack & play, high chair, kids dinnerware, baby bath, bottle warmer, changing table, frame pack baby carrier, books, blocks, indoor trike, games, outdoor swing and so much more! There is so much to do in downtown Oquossoc, just a half mile away. Grab lunch and groceries at the Oquossoc Grocery, enjoy dinner at The Portage Tap House or Bald Mountain Camps. Bring the kiddos to the playground right in the village, or stop by the famous Outdoor Heritage Museum. Downtown Rangeley is just 5 miles by car, and there is so much to do! Including: bowling at Moose Alley, ATV rentals at Rangeley Power Sports or fat bikes at AJ’s, or get an ice cream on your way to up Saddleback mountain, just up the hill! We hope you enjoy your time as much as we do in our much loved and well-cared-for retreat. Guest access Great spot for nature walks or riding bikes as our place is near a dead end and the traffic is light and moves slow. Plenty of parking for a boat or snowmobiles. Driveway is double wide "pull in/pull out" turnaround/circle style. We have a private apartment in the walk out basement that may be occupied by us during your stay. This is unlikely, but we will let you know. There is NO shared space and the entrance is separate. Other things to note 1. Please message us directly if you have pet guests. We approve on a case by case basis and do charge a pet fee since pet hair always increases cleaning time. 2. We keep our house extremely tidy and work hard to detail and sanitize the house prior to your arrival. All of our beds are made-up with fresh, high quality Land's End linens, also provided are Land's End bath towels/wash cloths, and laundry & trash removal are both included in your cleaning fee. 3. With each stay we include a bundle of firewood and kindling. Fires should only be in the fire pit and kept to a reasonable size. 4. There are 2 exterior security cameras; 1 facing the driveway/road and 1 facing the back yard/fireplace and woodpile. These are primarily to ensure property maintenance is taken care of, and also double as a security measure and for our liability. 5. For winter stays: Yes, there is snowmobile access from the house (via the lake) and plenty of trailer parking. We offer guided snowmobile tours too! Ask us about it!
