As well as the new Hagerstown Sports Complex! In addition to all the nearby amenities, we have created a beautiful space with you in mind. We are a 2-level town home duplex with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The living area and dining space is on the main entry level and the 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and office is on the second floor. A half bath is located on the main level. Beds. Let's be honest, if you can't sleep well while you're traveling, why would you ever return! And WE WANT you to RETURN! We've put a lot of thought and research into our mattresses. It's difficult to find beds that please everyone, so we took a survey and read lots of commentaries, which led us to mattresses that are on the moderate-to-firm side. We would love to find a mattress that makes everyone happy, but found that to be impossible! For those who need...require soft mattresses, ours will probably not suit you, but we think our mattresses rock! Let's take a tour. The living area, kitchen, a large dining room is on the main entry level as well as the Billiards table. A half bath is located on the main level. The 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and office is on the second floor. At the top of the stairs in the hall is the washer/dryer and a little further is the spacious master suite with a KING bed. The room is equipped with a large closet (should you be staying for any length of time) with lots of shelves, TV, and a comfortable, nicely lit sitting area to read or watch TV... or enjoy a quite moment away from the crowd. It has a private en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed, and bedroom #3 doubles as a bedroom and/or TV room/office, whichever you prefer! It has a Futon which converts to a FULL bed. The room is equipped with a large screen smart TV and a comfortable Futon allowing you to hang out for hours! The closet has been converted to a large desk, equipped with a work lamp, 4 USB ports! This room was designed to give you extra space should you need to get away from the chatter downstairs ;-) We think our home is perfect and wonderfully spacious for 4ppl, BUT can accommodate 6 ppl. This duplex is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood. Please be respectful of our neighbors! Quiet hours are from 10pm - 8am. We host short term and mid term guests. If you are staying for 3-5 days, we got you covered as far as paper goods/consumables. We provide: - 2 rolls of TP per bathroom - one roll of paper towels - 1oz. bar of soap - 1oz. shampoo - starter supply of coffee (LOTS of filters) and Keurig pods - 5 dishwasher tablets - plenty of trash bags - cleaning supplies - lots of hand soap He host a lot of contractors, nurses and long term visitors. If you are staying with us for longer than 5 days, you will want to shop for consumables, but we hope to have enough until you get to the store! Other things to note We think...we hope...we believe...that we have all the essentials for a comfortable stay! We want you to LOVE your stay at "Modern-Chic" ;-) You might find the following information helpful: With so many tournaments, ball games and sports in Hagerstown, it might be helpful to know we are 1.6 miles from Fairgrounds Park, Ice Rink, and downtown and 2.2 mls from City Park! Very close but we are not city center so it's residential and quiet. We provide a starter supply of shampoo and body wash (1 oz. each), enough to get you through a few days. We provide PLENTY of liquid hand soap, though, so no worries! We hope you will keep our place as clean as you would like your own home, so we provide all the necessary tools and supplies to help you keep our place spic-n-span: dish washing tablets, dish soap, brush and sponge, hand towel and trash bags. We have LOTS of utensils, but If you find there is an essential utensil missing, please let us know and we'll see if we can't add it to our repertoire before you leave. We love our HOME HERO knives! PLEASE help us to keep them sharp; only use them to cut fresh produce, foods and meat. They are not meant to open cans, scrape paint or loosen screws...just in case you didn't know ;-) We also love our cookware and bake ware, so please use ONLY plastic utensils when cooking. We have some small appliances that we feel are necessary for a comfortable stay, but if you think there is one that would round out your stay without breaking the bank ;-) please let us know! We have a toaster, an electric tea kettle, Nutri-bullet, crockpot, French coffee press and a traditional coffee maker. Lastly, things break. Batteries die. Remotes get lost. A pan burns. Dishes break. Sometimes previous guests put away a dirty dish or spoon. It is not intentional on our part to neglect these items. Unless they are brought to our attention, we will only find out when you find out. So, if you let us know something needs repair or replaced, we will love you forever. We want you to have a 5-Star experience, truly! Sorry, NO pets, NO Smoking. Just don't. We try to keep the check-out list simple and to do our best to keep our cleaning fee affordable, so we appreciate when you: - empty refrigerator/freezer/cupboards of all foods - gather trash and take it to trash can on your way out - pile soiled towels in tub - Start dishwasher (it's a long cycle, so it's nice to have the dishes done so our cleaning team can put them away) Did we forget anything?
