Other things to note The Wengen region is a car-free zone, it is not possible to drive there by car. In Lauterbrunnen at the train station there is a large parking lot to then continue with the Wengen mountain railway. From Lauterbrunnen it is then a short train ride to Wengwald and from this station it is then about a 7-minute walk to the chalet. If you have a lot of luggage with you, there is still the option to get off one stop later in Wengen and from there take the taxi that takes you to the chalet.
