Cosy lodge next to fishing lake

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Birch Lodge is an individual log cabin set on the edge of three coarse fishing lakes. This attractive wooden cabin has been designed with an open plan kitchen, diner & lounge. Sleeping 4 in two bedrooms, the property is located within Langford Lakes Christmas Tree Farm, with woodland walks and an array of wildlife on your doorstep. The cabin has a wood burning stove and enclosed decked area for al fresco dining. The space Birch Lodge has two cosy bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and the second bedroom has two 3ft single beds. Each bedroom has clothes hanging & storage space. The fully equipped kitchen, dining area & lounge over look the lakes, with access to the enclosed deck via double French doors. A basket of logs is provided so you can snuggle down in front of the log burner in the colder months and for the warmer months a fire pit with tripod grill is available for use by the lake. Guest access Birch Lodge is set within a 30 acre Christmas tree plantation, which also has four fishing lakes. The lakes contain carp, tench, roach, perch & bream. Guests have full access to our fishing lakes which is included in the price or you can just relax & enjoy the peaceful location. You may spot some of the wildlife that call the farm home, some of our regular visitors include roe deer, kingfishers and otters. There is a woodland walk that runs along a small stream which guests can explore, during the spring it is a haze of purple when the bluebells are in bloom. Well behaved dogs can be exercised on a lead throughout the site and there is an enclosed area for an off lead walk. Other things to note The fishing lakes adjacent to the lodge are unfenced - however the decking area is enclosed with a lockable gate. As the site is a working farm there maybe some noise/activity.
