Message us with any questions you might have! The space SOUTHEAST PORTLAND LOCATION The Candelabra home offers the perfect location in Southeast Portland! Not only will you be within walking distance from the Woodstock neighborhood — full of awesome coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores and breweries — but you are also steps away from the Brentwood park and playground. Reed College is just a stone's throw away, and our easy-to-access public transportation (with a bus stop just one block away) can get you to all other parts of town too. Within 10 minutes or less walking distance: Mehri’s Café and Bakery (at the end of the block), Heart Coffee, 7 Eleven, Bergerac French Cuisine, Ate-Oh-Ate Grill, Bridge City Pizza, Super Torta Mexican Food, Proper Pint Taproom, Dick’s Primal Burger. Reed College is a 5 minute drive. Please note there is a 2nd unit on the property, 40ft away and separated with a 6ft visual barrier wood fence and gates. Please do not disturb the other unit. There are no shared spaces with this unit, though they do have to walk down the driveway when entering/exiting. HEATING & COOLING This classic home has ample A/C and heating to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS The Candelabra home features 2 bedrooms: A master bedroom with a comfortable king size bed with soft, high thread count sheets and a down comforter. The second bedroom features a full size bed, with high thread count sheets and a bay window. The couch in the living room pulls out to a full size bed. KITCHEN AND DINING Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Fully stocked with everything you will need and more, including some basic spices and oils. There is a dining area for two, as well as two comfortable barstools along the outside counter. COMPLIMENTARY COFFEE/TEA We provide a small selection of coffee and tea. Creamer cups and sugar packets included. Selection of tea may vary, but will always include black tea and green tea. COMPLIMENTARY SNACKS We provide a basket of single serving snacks. Usually includes: chips, crackers, cookies, microwave popcorn and instant oatmeal. *Please alert us if you have allergies and would prefer us to remove the snack basket. We do our best to exclude anything that contains nuts. TV AND FREE WIFI We provide free broadband wifi as well as a 55-inch TV in the living room with an Apple TV. Several streaming services are provided or feel free to login to your own. OUTDOOR SPACES Outside you'll find a private, fully fenced back yard with a large covered patio. The front yard is large and open, with a broad selection of (seasonal) flowers and a white picket fence. ** This is a residential neighborhood! The home is not appropriate for noisy groups and quiet hours are enforced after 10PM ** PARKING There is room for 2 cars in the driveway and ample street parking. THE NEIGHBORHOOD This home is nestled in a lovely, peaceful residential neighborhood and is not appropriate for loud and late parties. City of Portland quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am and are enforced as are Portland's Good Neighbor Guidelines. Between 10pm-8am, especially when outside, please keep noise levels very low and be considerate to our neighbors. Privacy – Unlike many Portland AirBNB's, there are no shared walls, floors/basements or yard areas. The entire home is yours. Off limits- The rear driveway area in front of the garage, the garage itself, as well as all gates leading to the rear property are strictly off limits. Please do not disturb the rear unit behind the AirBNB. The rear unit is about 40ft away and separated with a 6ft visual barrier wood fence and gates. The driveway is used by the rear unit, so no parking in the driveway under any circumstances, including loading and unloading. There is always ample street parking available. Other things to note Our immediate surroundings are residential: long-term Portlanders, ranging from families with young kids to seniors. The area is very friendly, and safe, and just a few blocks away from local parks. Lots of people walking and biking to the nearby shopping areas, school, and neighborhood restaurants.
