The space The Seahorse is a refurbished cottage with original features over 4 floors, with bags of space for couples & families alike seeking a peaceful and scenic getaway. Enjoy comfort in the 4 Bedrooms which comprise of: - Spacious King Size with en-suite with bath (lower ground floor) - 2 Double bedrooms (one on first floor, one on second floor) - Twin Room (on first floor) We also have a large family bathroom with walk-in shower on the first floor and a ground floor WC. On your ground floor relax in the lounge or entertain in the open plan fully equipped kitchen diner which includes a snug type area. Dog Friendly: Bring along your furry friend to join the adventure. The Llofft, a café/restaurant and bar is only a few minutes walk away and overlooks the Menai Straits. Port Dinorwic Marina, only a 10 minute walk away, is where you will find The Swellies, great for brunch, coffee & cake and also Y Heulyn for drinks and speciality seafood. There is a great Chinese takeaway on the main road. Up to 2 well behaved pets are welcome. We kindly ask that sofas are covered with blankets if your pets like to snuggle on the sofa. The Port Dinorwic Sailing Club in Y Felinheli is close by on the waterfront where you can experience sailing and watersports. The Seahorse is a great base to explore North Wales, being central to Caernarfon, Bangor, Snowdonia and Anglesey. Highlights include: Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), the home of the iconic Yr Wyddfa – 15-20 minutes drive away. Zip World Penrhyn Quarry - only 20 minutes away by car and ideal for all the family to experience the world’s fastest zip line, karting adventure or enjoy a tour of the historic slate quarry.
