Located on a little over 2 wooded acres with close proximity to the town of Pepin, Wisconsin and the scenic Great River Road where you can drive 10 minutes or less in either direction to explore and shop/eat in the cute little towns of Pepin, Stockholm and Nelson, Wisconsin. Slow down in the private hot tub up high in the trees, cozy up and read in the stair nook, or make a bonfire in the outdoor firepit. . This 480 sqft treehouse has been designed with nature and relaxation in mind. You're welcome to explore any of our 2.8 wooded acres. We have created short walking paths in parts of the woods around the edge of the property so feel free to explore. We do live on the property so don't be surprised if you see us or our house in the distance once in a while, but don't worry! We know you love your privacy so we've designed the space so you can peacefully enjoy it and we won't be out bugging you. If you’re looking for a 100% isolated 40+ acre forested space, this may not be your jam. The treehouse exists in our “backyard” in the woods which means we do reside on the property. However, we’ve designed the space to have plenty of privacy and, (don’t worry!) we won’t be out bugging you, in fact, we’ll totally leave you alone unless you specifically ask us not to! Free parking on the property, just pull right up to the treehouse. Something to note about staying in the Pepin area if you’ve never visited: Along the whole lakeshore is a train track which means that any house in Pepin will feel the train vibrations. Some guests find this relaxing, but this might be a surprise if you’re not used to this and experience it in the treehouse. It is not unique to our property, just a quirk of the area. We have insulted the space well so you won’t hear the train much, but you may feel it at times.
