By night you can go on the deck and be serenaded by the frogs and crickets. By day you might be able to spot a bald eagle but you are guaranteed to see at least 2 color variations of dragonflies and of course the cute tree frogs. The space Welcome to Dragonfly Inn; a shallow waterfront lagoon home nestled in a quiet neighborhood off Guntersville Lake, only 0.75 mi from Jackson County Park fishing dock and boat ramp (we do not have a dock nor a swimming area). This home has 3 queen beds in each of the upstairs bedrooms and a downstairs open area with 2 bunk beds each of which is a twin, open floor plan for the dining/sitting/living areas, and a plethora of games. Ideal for nature lovers, the home features 2 stories of decking/patio with a fire pit, grill, and outdoor sitting, with lots of trees and a water view. *HIGHLIGHTS* Primary BEDROOM/BATHROOM (main floor) - Primary bedroom: queen-sized memory foam bed, 32” smart tv, desk with chair, view of the trees and water from the full glass door while laying in bed, it also features a private full bathroom with shower/tub combo in the primary bedroom Additional BEDROOM/BATHROOM (main floor) - 2 bedrooms on the main floor each have (1) queen bed - Share Full bathroom with walk-in shower LIVING/DINING - Velvet sofa with additional seating around - 65” smart TV (all TVs feature Amazon Video, Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, Roku & other free movie apps) - 10+ Board & card games - Washer & dryer - Glass table with seating for 6 (can be used for gaming and dining) KITCHEN - Appliances include: electric range, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, Keurig dual drip and single K-cup coffee maker, toaster oven, Crockpot slow cooker - Cooking & dining essentials provided - Sliding glass doors onto the main deck (dining set for 6 & gas grill) OUTDOOR - Front porch: welcome area - Main patio: Seating, fire pit, water feature, café lights, & Bluetooth speakers - Outdoor games: cornhole and connect 4 LOCATION - Lake and tree views - Nearby free boat launches & fishing/swimming docks - Access to community amenities: kids playground, boat rentals, & picnic tables - Guidebook with nearby recommendations provided PET-AMENITIES - I am sorry to say my allergies cause us not to allow pets inside our home. IDEAL FOR multiple COUPLES or Families - Relaxing setting - 3 Queen beds - Wine & coffee glasses - Fire pit Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin with the exception of the locked supply closets. Other things to note - Be aware that the open area below with the bunk beds is directly attached to the stairs coming from the living room, which is open to the main areas of the home. To get to the basement area, there is a staircase from the upstairs or entry from the garage or back patio area. - Please ensure all guests are accounted for within your reservation. We DO NOT allow anyone that is not accounted for onto the property, even if they do not plan to stay the night. Unannounced guests will result in a $100 per guest, per night, charge to your account AND you will need to vacate immediately. - This home is on city water/sewer; it can handle food scraps with the use of the food disposal. Toilets can only handle septic-safe toilet paper. Do not flush hygiene products or excessive tissue, as this will cause a blockage as this is an older home. - ***All trash must be BAGGED and TIED in kitchen-sized 13 gallon bags, then placed in the outdoor trash bins. *** - Pets are NOT allowed and there is a $350 fee for bringing an unannounced pet. - We are tobacco, vape & 420 friendly, however these are permitted OUTDOORS ONLY. - Games are located in the laundry area of the basement. - Because this is a rural area, we recommend bringing "Off" or other personal bug spray as we are on the water. ****There is parking for 3 outside the garage but that doesn't allow for getting in/out of the 2 car garage. Parking OFF the side of the road for another 3. If you have more vehicles than that it will be your responsibility to find parking elsewhere. No blocking the streets nor parking on our neighbors lawns. Please be respectful of our neighbors.
